I said that as I go into the air, the clones throw kunai, you said that as I go into the air, you use: Chidori Spear.
Unless you have lightning affinity, at a low rank as Jounin, it would require atleast a couple of handseals, thus my kunais are faster, and even in you didnt use handseals, the kunais would get close enough for the blast to get you, interrupting you chidori spear U_U
Also, you'd had to form chidori before making it into a spear, so that would take even longer ^^
