As shown by Madara and Sasuke at different intervals, the Sharingan is able to hypnotize a foe. While different to casting a Genjutsu on them, the two hold similarities. What all can you tell me about it's hypnotic abilities?"


Alright, too be completly honest with you guys i didn't even know Sharingan had a "hypnosis" type of ability
And after reading up a bit on NP i found out that what the basic sharingan hypnosis was about.

So basically, through eye contact, the sharingan user has the power too suggest thoughts and actions too someone else, basically hypnotising them into doing something. Just like Imperfect mentioned with Kakashi and Zabuza. Now if the user of sharingan has more experience and power he can use this too an even further point, where one would be able too hypnotise and controll a summon and/or a bijuu. Too controll a bijuu, one would have too be very powerfull though ,since sofar only Obito, Madara and Sasuke has been shown too perform this feat, Sasuke too the point of controlling all 9 bijuus at the same time. When used against a bijuu or summon, the victims eyes takes the same pattern as the sharingan. In a similar manner, one can enter a jinchurikis mind and use this hypnosis too surpress the bijuus chakra.

When combined with the sharingans other abilities, against an oponent, you can make it seem as the user can "see the future". By first perfectly copying the oponents movements fully and then casualy suggesting to the opponent to perform, for example, handseals to a technique that both of them already knows. And by using the rest of the sharingans powers and your own speed, you can complete the action before the oponent does.

Well, before we move forward, you should know that hypnosis in the RP is a tricky topic.

Hypnosis is essentially tapping into the more primal levels of your mind. To explain, the mind is similar to an onion, with layers and layers of thoughts, emotions, feelings, etc. These layers are held together by the will of the person. This will can be manipulated and shut down through hypnosis, causing them to revert back to this primal sense of control. This can largely be done via Sharingan genjutsu, but on a smaller more specific scale, it can be done without genjutsu. It always requires eye contact and this contact must be sustained. Through this eye contact, you can alter how they see and perceive basic things, changing them to suit your needs. You can for example alter their perception of time, like when Kakashi fought Zabuza like Imp said ( though, Zabuza performed the jutsu, Kakashi made it seem as if he was performing the seals at the same time, suggesting he could read his mind ), you can alter feelings and suggest words into their mind, which can make it seem as if you can read his mind. With this, you can play around and toy around with their mind, but you can never bend their mind to the point that you manipulate their free will or body. It's ideal for taijutsu means, altering their sense of time perception to make it appear as if you are attacking at the same time as he is. But the true usage of it comes from it's roleplaying aspects, roleplaying not as in Battling, but roleplaying as in character development and such lol. Like you can hypnotize them into feeling fear, anger, anxiety, etc etc, and from a RP standpoint, that's a pretty cool thing to make use of in a battle. Of course, there is a few limitations to this, namely the fact that you must maintain eye contact continously and the fact that it only works on targets 1 rank and lower from your rank, Sage being able to affect Unofficial Sages and so on and so forth.

That's probably because it was only really shown in any depth in the Kakashi vs Zabuza fight, and even then, not really explained at all, I was rather confused about the ambiguous nature of this ability, but now that you've explained to us the limitations of what it can or can't do, I think I'm good to go.

, is very unique, as all that is required for it to take place is a moment of mutual visual contact between yourself and the target. I likened it to Sound Genjutsu, as the Sound Waves act as a medium for the users Chakra, and alter the opponents senses through their hearing. Same difference with Sharingan Genjutsu, only it's the mutual visual contact that acts as the medium, and the opponents senses are affected through their sight. Once visual contact is established, the user may trap their opponent in almost any Genjutsu they want, although, I believe they must be visual Genjutsu as in almost every known instance, the one trapped in the Genjutsu is shown illusions that mess with their sense of reality. Itachi used this twice on Naruto, the first showing him vivid illusions of his friends to confuse and disorientate him and prevent him from breaking the Genjutsu through Kai, and again when he was shown to be floating in the air surrounded by Itachi's crows. Sasuke also did this numeral times, Sai was shown confusing patterns based on the walls of the hideout they were in, Bee was impaled with feathers that restricted his movements and Cee was shown a massive figure that grabbed him and surrounded him, paralyzing him in fear. So it's safe to assume that the majority of Sharingan Genjutsu are visual. As for other abilities related to Genjutsu, since the Sharingan is able to see the flow of Chakra, it can detect when the flow is altered or disrupted, as it will appear different from the norm. This can be seen in yourself, or other people. Finally, Sharingan Genjutsu, like regular Ninjutsu, can be used for the extraction of valuable information, and in recent times, the complete control over your targets actions. Itachi, while using Tsukuyomi and Izanami, was not only able to get Kabuto to tell him the seals for the Reanimation technique, he made Kabuto perform them, suggesting a slight level of control while the target is trapped in a Genjutsu as strong as either Izanami or Tsukuyomi. Another thing that should be noted is that, like I said before, I think the Sharingan can act as a medium for Genjutsu that are normally out of range, allowing the Sharingan to cast a Close Range Genjutsu on a Mid-Long Range enemy, if this is wrong, let me know. I hope this, in tandem with any information I may have posted but missed/ forgotten about in the last Genjutsu related post is enough to show my knowledge of Sharin-Gen.

alright so sharingen *sigh* Sharingan genjutsu is one of the most powerfullest genjutsus out there. Basically through a moment of eyecontact, like a second or so, the user of the sharingan has the ability to capture their enemy inside a genjutsu of their desire. Sharingen is very unique since it requires basically no handseals and can work through long distances, as long as you have a moment of eyecontact with the oponent, this very usefull, since the fact that they require no handseals, can help mask the genjutsu, making it harder for the oponent to detect that they are trapped in one. Once detected, Sharingan genjutsu can be broken just like regular genjutsu, by inflicting damage on yourself or a sudden burst of chakra. Sharingan can also see through other oponents genjutsu and also detect weather or not someone is trapped inside a genjutsu, by seeing their chakra flow move irregular..ly. If a sharingan user gets trapped in a genjutsu, he also has the ability too switch places with the oponent, breaking free of the genjutsu and at the same time casting the same jutsu on the oponent, an example of this is when Itachi did it at Kurenai.

Itachi, during his fight with Kabuto(which is like the only place i remember something like this happening) used the Izanami to his advantage, hypnotising kabuto, causing him too (like imperfect said) not only reveal the handseals, but to even perform them and cancel the Edo tensei....(sorry if too thin..been kinda busy )

I'll break your posts down to smaller quotes here and there to explain more in depth about some of the things you mentioned.

The Sharingan's ability to Cast Genjutsu is unique in that all that is required is direct eye contact with your target. Once you are able to establish mutual visual contact, you can place the target under any Genjutsu you wish. This isn't really explained in great detail, but I assume the visual contact acts as a medium for your Chakra, allowing your Chakra to (almost instantaneously) affect and control the flow of the opponent's Chakra. If you look at it this way, it is almost identical to the process of Sound Release Genjutsu, the sound waves act as the medium, and use the opponent's sense of hearing to alter the flow of their Chakra. But this is just my own understanding of it, it could just be wrong as far as I can tell.

This is both correct and incorrect; Sharingan Genjutsus are certainly powerful, that much is clear. But all of them do not require eye contact, those most do. The way this is theorized to work is that with regular genjutsu, one must generally form handseals to initiate the Genjutsu, molding the chakra for this illusion through the seals. The mediums for genjutsu differ greatly, a large portion of them being visually triggered, such as looking at the user or a specific object. Some others are triggered through hearing a sound ( Namely Sound Genjutsu ), and even others are triggered through sense of Smell, Touch, and Lili has even tried to extend this to the sense of Taste with her submitted CC. With most Sharingan Genjutsus, this medium is Visual, requiring the user to be able to cast a genjutsu through eye contact alone, however not all do this. A specific one that doesn't require eye contact would be (Doujutsu: Shiranui) - Eye Technique: Phosphorescent light. This one is triggered by having a line of vision with the target, being able to physically see him.

The way it's been shown so far, one glance is enough to activate a Genjutsu strong enough to trap anyone, Naruto was trapped in Itachi's Genjutsu without him even realizing it simply because he saw the Sharingan, then wondered who it was, Sasuke or Itachi. Cee was caught in Sasuke's paralysis Genjutsu with the Susano'o binding him from the other side of the Summit Venue room they were in, across a great distance, the wiki even states that "Shisui was able to render people unconscious with a single glance from long distance with his Sharingan, even without direct eye contact." does that mean that, through the Sharingan, any Genjutsu can be cast at any distance? Even one's that normally require you to be within a specific range of the target? If so, and I realize I am repeating myself but I don't care, that's pretty cool.

As I stated above, not all Sharingan genjutsu require direct eye contact. Shisui was a master of Sharingan Genjutsu and his Mangekyou Sharingan was shown capable of using Sharingan Genjutsu to great effect, able to cast Genjutsus on others without them even being aware of it, or without them even being able to see it, demonstrated by Danzo when he trapped Mifune in a genjutsu without him even being aware of it happening during the Five Kage Summit Arc. What that specific quote likely meant was that due to Shisui being hailed as the greatest Genjutsu user of the Uchiha, his prowess with it was so great that he was able to cast a Sharingan Genjutsu from greater ranges than others, possibly even normal Genjutsu as well. This however does not mean that normal Genjutsu is able to be cast through greater ranges than Mid range in the RP. Genjutsu is confined to Mid range whereas Sharingan Genjutsus, some of them anyway, have the possibility of being used at Long Range.

Kakashi was even able to control Zabuza's movements with a Genjutsu, making him think he was performing a Jutsu he knew, and then Kakashi finished it before him, making Zabuza believe Kakashi could see the future when in fact it was Kakashi using the Jutsu and having Zabuza copy him, and then Kakashi finished the Jutsu before Zabuza. This level of control can be further expanded on in usage of Genjutsu, like how Itachi used Tsukuyomi (in tandem with Izanami) to extract crucial information from Kabuto and undo the contract for the Edo Tensei, controlling Kabuto to weave the seals. Of course, most Genjutsu are used for extracting information anyway, as was the case with Rin in Kakashi Gaiden, the two Iwa nin didn't have Sharingan but they were attempting to extract info from Rin via Genjutsu. The Sharingan just makes this easier when you have direct eye contact, and unique Sharingan Genjutsu make the illusions harder to break or detect. Anyway, I hope this was sufficient to show my knowledge of Sharingan Genjutsu. (Even though I haven't even really done much in regular Genjutsu...)

As stated above, parts of this would fall under the realm of Hypnosis and not specifically Sharingan Genjutsu. Sharingan Genjutsu is indeed ideal for extracting information from a potential target, something that was shown on multiple occasions. I find it more enjoyable to use Sharingan Genjutsus in more brutal ways, trapping them in illusions as I use either Katon or other elements against them, but that's a matter of preference.

As for other abilities related to Genjutsu, since the Sharingan is able to see the flow of Chakra, it can detect when the flow is altered or disrupted, as it will appear different from the norm. This can be seen in yourself, or other people. Finally, Sharingan Genjutsu, like regular Ninjutsu, can be used for the extraction of valuable information, and in recent times, the complete control over your targets actions. One thing you missed, in regards to the Sharingan's Genjutsu related abilities, is that the Sharingan is able to pierce through Visual Genjutsus as well as reverse other genjutsus cast upon the user. Starting with the first, Visual Genjutsus, are genjutsus that take on a Visual trait primarily. This means that Genjutsus that primarily are used to alter your sense of sight and what you are able to Visually interpret are considered Visual Genjutsus. Sharingans are able to break through this visual illusion with ease, due to their natural "piercing" abilities, allowing the user to see through it. How this is achieved isn't an exact science but we reason it to be along the lines of simply focusing your vision once you have reasoned it is an illusion and piercing through it with ease, an instinctive and relatively quick process, taking next to no time in the timeframe and being passively achieved. However, this is only viable for Visual Genjutsus. As for other Genjutsus that plague the mind, should you reason it to be a Genjutsu, you are able to reverse the genjutsu itself, though we will touch on this in greater detail later. Also, note my point about casting Genjutsu through the Sharingan above, it doesn't increase the range.

I mean, being unsure about Ranges due to using the Sharingan acting as a medium for Genjutsu is one thing, but forgetting to put the Sharingan's ability to pierce through Genjutsu? *Facepalm* As for reversing a Genjutsu on the opponent, I never knew about that. I've never actually watched the Itachi & Kiame vs Asuma, Kureni, Kakashi & Guy fight, so I never knew of that technique's existence until you brought it up. >__>

Yeah, it's a pretty cool jutsu lol. And now, we move on to the actual Genjutsus themselves. They can be best divided into Genjutsus of similar groups instead of the repetitive grinding of the same ones over and over.

The first are the Sharingan Genjutsus that do not require direct eye contact, but rather a line of sight of the opponent. A large portion of these genjutsus are designed to incapacitate the foe while not causing direct damage to them in most cases. These methods include binding, and paralyzation.

None Eye Contact Requiring Genjutsu:

Relatively easy to cast, you cast the illusion that there are suddenly 6 of you that attack him by exploding. What really happens is you throw explosive kunai hidden by the genjutsu. It doesn't require eye contact, but it does require the 3 Tomoe Sharingan to be active.


(Bōshi Genjutsu: Koukon Karasu) – Illusionary Eye Technique: Dusk Crow

Description: An illusion were the user simple points at the target and if the target glances at the pointing hand they fall into a genjutsu where they first see birds and then they turn to kunai that attack them.They are future damaged by being tortured by images of there friend insulting them.
Note:This is an advanced sharingan genjutsu.

A genjutsu that Itachi used against Naruto with the aim of causing him to pass out. He pointed his hand and caused a flock of crows to fly towards Naruto, that swiftly turn into shuriken that pierce the target and slash him, causing pain. As this happens, the pain is intended to break the target's concentration and fall asleep. However, they likely won't and will stay woke, trying to resist the genjutsu. As this happens, they see their body parts changing into the faces and bodies of their old friends and allies, tormenting and ridiculing them. This mental torture is used with the goal of causing the enemy to pass out and faint in the genjutsu while forcing them to sleep in the real world. (Doujutsu: Chuubo no Yuuku) – Eye Technique: Paralyzing Fear

Description: The user will cast a Genjutsu upon the target in which they will see a shadowy figure appear infront of them bearing the Sharingan and then the figure will grow to an enormous size over shadowing the target in pitch-black darkness. The figure will then grab hold of the target and then will cover them in black threads, leaving them paralyzed for a period of time. (This was shown by sasuke against Shi)
Note: Must have tomoe 3 to use and paralyzing effects last 1 turn.

By having a line of sight to the foe, you cast a genjutsu on them that causes them to see a massive figure in front of them that bears the Sharingan. This figure grabs the target and causes paralyazation to come into effect for a turn.

( Dōjutsu: Jigokuken ) - Eye Technique: Sword Hell

Descrption: The user casts the illusion upon the opponent where the surroundings similary to Tsukiyomi go black and white and swords then begin levitating around the user and the opponent spinning around before the user then manipulates the swords to peirce the opponents body. The initial attack causes mental damage and temporarily paralyses the opponents body restricting their overall performance. (paralysing lasts 1 turn)
Note: Can only be used with tomo 3 sharingan.

Similar to the above, you cause the opponent to see several swords around them this time, all of which pierce the body and prevent movement while causing mental damage ( this should be edited to reflect this btw ) and 1 turn paralyzation as well.

(Doujutsu: Hazumi no Reikon) - Eye Technique: Bound by Soul Technique

Description: The user will cast a genjutsu that immobilizes the target. In the genjutsu the target is bound to a leaf spinning around in the dark. This technique temporarily binds the target leaving them open to attack. (this technique is shown when sasuke tried to bind killer bee in genjutsu but to ill effect from being released by his bijuu).
Note: Must have tomo 3 sharingan and bind lasting 1 turn.

Once more, as you see, this Genjutsu also incapacitates the enemy for a single turn, this time bound to a leaf spinning in the dark.

You can see the similarities between all of these rather easily.

Before we start I just want to say I don't have much completed in the field of Genjutsu, I think I'm at around C-Ranks, but I can see there are a few higher ranked Genjutsu technique's here. I promise I won't use them until I've completed Genjutsu to the proper level. Or are Sharingan Genjutsu considered separate from regular Genjutsu and can be used, even if you don't have Normal Genjutsu at the correct Rank?

Simple distraction Genjutsu, the clones cover the approach of Explosive Tags attached to Kunai, simple. I don't have any serious questions about this as it's very simplistic, but are explosive tags the only things you can throw with this technique, or can you substitute them for other tools?

I remember this one, it's during the episode "Hunt" I think, when Sasuke encounters Deidara and Naruto encounters Itachi. Thing is, in that episode, Naruto did make direct eye contact with Itachi, like I said before, cause he noticed a shadowy figure and saw the Sharingan and wondered if it was Sasuke or Itachi. That could either mean the technique doesn't need eye contact, or it has a delayed effect or the user chooses when to make the effects of the Genjutsu known, but anyway, it's another simple Genjutsu, trapping the opponent in the air, suspended while crows circle overhead. I'll guess this can't be used in Short Range, since the Jutsu says "Mid" and not "Short - Mid"?

This technique doesn't require eye contact, but the target is required to look at the hand the user is pointing with. That makes this technique's usage limited to moments where the target's vision is focused on your hands. You could fake them out by performing some bogus seals, then work the finger point into the actual hand seals, to try and catch the opponent off guard. Also, I'll assume where it says "Note:This is an advanced sharingan genjutsu." it means you need 3T active to perform it, or is that something else?

(Doujutsu: Chuubo no Yuuku) – Eye Technique: Paralyzing Fear

The technique Sasuke used to incapacitate Cee in the Kage Summit Arc, cool. No questions, it binds the opponent with threads in the Genjutsu (more like the giant smothers them, but whatevs), while in reality they are paralyzed by fear. No questions.

The initial attack causes mental damage and temporarily paralyses the opponents body restricting their overall performance. (paralysing lasts 1 turn)
Note: Can only be used with tomo 3 sharingan.

The opponent will see themselves be stabbed by several floating swords, so in reality they are paralyzed by the mental pain that the Genjutsu tricks them into believing is real. It says the "innitial attack causes mental damage", what about the rest of the swords? Are they just to mess with the victim, but provide no extra damage, mental pain or paralysis? Cause... That's devilishly evil.

(Doujutsu: Hazumi no Reikon) - Eye Technique: Bound by Soul Technique

Note: Must have tomo 3 sharingan and bind lasting 1 turn.

The technique Sasuke tried to use to paralyze Bee when he was about to launch an attack, which failed due to Bee having Gyuki on his side. I can see why this one works, but... A Leaf? Really? How does that "bind" someone in place. Leaf's are fragile you know. Except Shinobi who bear that symbol. They're awesome. U_U

All of these Genjutsu don't really have anything complicated about them. None of them require seals or direct eye contact, so they are very fast, except for the one that requires the opponent to look at your hand, that one will be tricky to pull off, or at least I think so. But yeah, they all leave the opponent open for an attack, or completely paralyze them for a short time, allowing you a good amount of time to set something up, or quickly dispatch the target, either way, they are cool Genjutsu for Sharingan users.

I promise I won't use them until I've completed Genjutsu to the proper level. Or are Sharingan Genjutsu considered separate from regular Genjutsu and can be used, even if you don't have Normal Genjutsu at the correct Rank?'

As for the Sharingan genjutsus that dont require eye contact most of them are used simpy for the purpose of distracting or paralyzing someone. No questions on any of them

Well, that actual works out in our favor as I overlooked an aspect of training. Before we start the Genjutsu training, there is a small battle between us, where you demonstrate usage and knowledge of everything you've learned that is Sharingan related. Depending on how well you perform, this battle may be extended until you show good enough usage to continue. That being said, I want you to fight each other in this thread, I'll post at times to point out things about how you use the Sharingan and other bits as well. Imp, you can have the first move and besure that all of your moves involve Sharingan usage. At this point, you officially have 3T.

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.

Shayde began with, what was undeniably his weakest subject at the moment, Genjutsu. While it wasn't his best subject, he knew that he had to show how much he knew about the Sharingan, and the same was for his training partner. Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, all fields needed to be shown in some shape or form, so it was best to get the worst skill he had out of the way first. By simply gathering Chakra in his body, then releasing it in the form of a wave of Chakra, Shayde created a visual illusion where a clones of himself began to appear from all around Kakashi, from the ground, the tree's, the very field they were standing appeared, to him, to be overrun with an army of handsome clones. They slowly creep up on Kakashi in a menacing manner and start to "attack him, but nothing would happen. They would pass right through Kakashi, not having any physical form to begin with, but if they were attacked, they would appear to multiply. Their purpose was to distract Kakashi while Shayde planned his next attack.

Description: This illusion creates numerous illusionary clones of the user that appear to emerge from the ground, trees, rocks, etc. If these clones are attacked, they appear to multiply. The user can co-ordinate his attacks with the clones to make it appear as if they are real.

While the clones obscured Kakashi's vision from multiple angles, Shayde hid amongst them, working his way around Kakashi to his right side, where his Sharingan wouldn't be able to pick up on his next move until it was, possibly, too late. Thanks to his proficiency in the Fire Element, Shayde performed a single Hand Seal, Tiger, and gathered Fire Style Chakra in his lungs, mixing it in with the air. As he was preparing to release the cloud of flammable mist at Kakashi, he decided to play a little game with him. Since the Genjutsu only affected what he saw, Kakashi could clearly hear Shayde yell out loud...

"Water Style: Hidden Mist Jutsu!!"

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball.

Shayde lied. He blew a massive cloud of flammable mist at Kakashi. Why? The Mist Blade Dance Technique and the Hidden Mist Jutsu were almost identical in physical appearance, both would obscure a Doujutsu's vision, since both of them are shaped to appear as thick clouds of mist created from Chakra, so the Sharingan would naturally pick up on the Chakra in both of them, rendering it's vision useless. The main difference between them though is the fact the one Shayde used was highly combustible... All it would take is a spark and Kakashi would be burned to a crisp. Shayde slowly drew two Kunai from his Ninja Tool pouch, held one in each hand and tossed them both into the Mist at an arc in an angle so that they would collide in the mist, create a spark and severely roast Kakashi, if he was unable to counter that is.

"Let' see you get out of this one with that borrowed eye of yours, Kakashi of the Sharingan..."

Terrain, lets say Konoha training grounds? with a few trees, a grassy field and a small pond.

Hearing his teachers orders, Kakashi turns his face towards Shayde, his teammate. Seeing the man activate his sharingan, Kakashi does the same, by grabbing the left side of his headband and pulling it up, revealing his 3 tomoed sharingan(im so hyped about this xD) Standing there for a few more seconds, he then, all of a sudden sees multiple Shayde's appear from all over the field, the grass and the trees. Paying close attention to all of this, He notice no altering in the area from which the clones appear from and as the clones come towards him, he hears not a slightest sound from them, like footsteps or anything, staring at the hair and clothes of the clone, none seem to be waving or making the slightest move as the clones head towards him.

Using all this knowledge, Its only a matter of seconds before Kakashi figures out its a genjutsu. With his sharingan focused on most of the clones, he gathers his focus and pierces through the illusion. The second later all clones are dissapeared, leaving only one Shayde on the field. Spotting Shayde now at his right side, Kakashi turns towards him, just in time to see the tiger handseal being performed. Seeing the gathering of chakra in the lungs and throat of Shayde and hearing him scream.

"Water Style: Hidden Mist Jutsu"

But as Tiger is commonly used in assosiation with fire techniques and with the pattern of Shaydes gathered chakra moving in a way abnormal to waterstyle techniques, Kakashi gathers a small amount of his wind chakra and exhales it, at the same time as Shayde releases the gas, changing the trajectory of the gas, instead sending it towards Shayde and the area behind him.

Right afterwards, Kakashi gathers some of his chakra and releases it, sending it towards Shayde, manipulating his senses, mainly the vision, making him belive that the area is getting covered in a thick mist, loosing sight of Kakashi.

Whilst Shaydes view is blocked by the "mist", Kakashi rushes towards him with speed and sends a combo of punches and kicks, starting out with a straight right hand to the face, a left hook to the ribcage and finishing with a forcefull straight right kick to the gut, sending Shayde flying backwards.

As Shayde began to release the stream of flammable mist at Kakashi, his Sharingan noticed that Kakashi's Chakra flow changed from the erratic pattern it was put into under his Genjutsu back to a normal one. Shayde guessed must have seen through the technique and used his Sharingan to break the low level illusion. Genjutsu was never his strong point anyway, but the fact Kakashi saw through the illusion so quickly meant he was able to react faster to Shayde's Jutsu. Instead of falling for the trick, Kakashi used a strong gale to blow the mist back at Shayde. As the mist was blown back into his face, Shayde held his breath closed his eyes just for a moment, but that was all the time needed for Kakashi to place Shayde in a Genjutsu. Oddly enough he didn't really change anything, the illusion that was cast on Shayde was one that mimicked what was physically happening regardless of the illusion. As Shayde opened his eyes, he noted that nothing had changed. He was surrounded by what he assumed was the same mist that he blew at Kakashi, gray and thick, physically blocking his vision, but something didn't feel quite right... He had little time to think though as he heard footsteps quickly approaching. Obviously Kakashi didn't want to play around, he was heading straight for Shayde, but Shayde couldn't tell which direction he was coming from, Kakashi could have moved around him in the short time he had his eyes closed from the mist being blown back. But then that feeling Shayde had started to make sense.

Wait, how can this be the mist I just used? The Sharingan see's Chakra as color, and that mist was full of the stuff just waiting to blow up, but my Sharingan isn't picking up any sign of Chakra in this Mist... So, is this a Genjutsu? It has to be, otherwise I'd just be seeing my own Chakra and not this mist.

As soon as he realized that the mist he was being shown was an Illusion, Shayde focused his Sharingan, sharpening his vision and broke through the Genjutsu with his Sharingan. But there was still the problem that Kakashi was approaching, and Shayde couldn't see which direction he could be approaching from. Kakashi had a distinct advantage under these circumstances, as he only had one Sharingan, one eye that could register the Chakra from the Mist, while the other could see normally in the flammable mist. Was this coincidence, did this happen by accident due to Shayde's bravado? Or was this really how Kakashi fought his opponent's? Utilizing every single detail and using it to his advantage... Shayde had little time to think about it as Kakashi was getting closer, apparent by the footsteps becoming louder. Shayde performed a single seal, for the Shadow Clone Jutsu, and created two clones, one at his front to protect himself from a head on attack, the other at his back to watch his back and sides while Shayde did the same.

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. Upon impact, the clone can be dispersed.

As Kakashi entered the mist and Short Range of Shayde, his clone registered Kakashi, or to be more specific, his Chakra. It easily stood out amongst all of Shayde's Chakra that was surrounding them, as the Sharingan is able to register Chakra as colors, and everyone's Chakra has a different color. The clone in front of Shayde was able to see Kakashi's first attack due to the Sharingan's excellent perception skills, a simple right handed attack to his face. To respond, the clone extended his left hand out to meet the incoming attack, his fist clenched, he used the back of his hand to divert the attack off to the left side of his head. The clone then grabbed Kakashi by the throat with his right hand and simply smiled...

"Checkmate..."

Description: A very advanced and complex defensive form, the Defensive Crane allows the user to divert the path of incoming attacks with the back of his hands, using circular and wide movements that expand outwards. He can intercept weapons or incoming Taijutsu attacks. The technique is best used when facing an opposing Taijutsu move by diverting the incoming limb to one side and combo the defensive stance with an attack, exploiting the opening created.

At the same time, the real Shayde and the other clone heard the sound made by the exchange of blows between Kakashi and the clone. It was clear that Kakashi decided to attack him head on. A brave, but ultimately foolish plan of attack that would prove to be his downfall, as he was now within the confines of the mist. Shayde looked at the second clone and gave a nod. The clone then grabbed Shayde and tossed him back, out of the mist and away from any immediate danger. He then gathered a small amount of Chakra in his finger tips and snapped them. This small meaningless gesture created friction that the Clone used to create a fire on the tip of his finger. This tiny source of ignition was more than enough to react with the Chakra in the mist, which instantly and violently combusted, dispersing both clones and burning Kakashi. It wasn't fatal, since a small amount of time had passed since the Jutsu was formed and thus it would have certainly weakened, but it would have definitely hurt.

Description: This Jutsu was created using the special paper Sensei's possess to assess a Shinobi's Elemental Affinity as a basis. The user focuses Chakra in their finger/ hand and, by performing a small action that represents the Element they wish to replicate, they produce a raw/ primal form of the chosen Element. While this technique lacks any real "punch", its strength lies in the users imagination. The following is a list of basic examples from the 5 Elemental Natures, note that these are simply basic examples, and not the sole usage of the technique.

Fire: The user can snap their fingers, using the heat caused by the friction to make a "lighter" from their finger/ thumb. Other uses include low heat Fire's, such as Ash.

Wind: The user can twirl their finger around, using the rotation to create a mini-vortex on their fingertip. Other uses include basic variations of Wind, like small gusts.

Lightning: The user can rub their fingers together, using the vibration to mimic a small electrical charge. Other uses include basic variations of Lightning.

Earth: The user can ball their hand into a fist, compressing their Chakra and make a small rock or pebble. Other uses include softer or lighter variations of Earth, such as mud, dirt or dust.

Water: The user can simply draw a line of Water in the air, using free-flowing movements with their finger, creating a "stream" of Water in the air. Other uses include basic variants on the Water Element, such as syrup or oil.

As Shayde picked himself up after being tossed by his clone, dusting himself off and waiting for the smoke from the mist to settle, he realized he hadn't taken a breath since the mist was blown back at him, he gasped for air for a moment before looking over at where Kakashi was when the mist exploded.

The Sharingan see's Chakra as color, and that mist was full of the stuff just waiting to blow up, but my Sharingan isn't picking up any sign of Chakra in this Mist... So, is this a Genjutsu? It has to be, otherwise I'd just be seeing my own Chakra and not this mist.

As soon as he realized that the mist he was being shown was an Illusion, Shayde focused his Sharingan, sharpening his vision and broke through the Genjutsu with his Sharingan. But there was still the problem that Kakashi was approaching, and Shayde couldn't see which direction he could be approaching from. Kakashi had a distinct advantage under these circumstances, as he only had one Sharingan, one eye that could register the Chakra from the Mist, while the other could see normally in the flammable mist. Was this coincidence, did this happen by accident due to Shayde's bravado? Or was this really how Kakashi fought his opponent's? Utilizing every single detail and using it to his advantage... Shayde had little time to think about it as Kakashi was getting closer, apparent by the footsteps becoming louder. Shayde performed a single seal, for the Shadow Clone Jutsu, and created two clones, one at his front to protect himself from a head on attack, the other at his back to watch his back and sides while Shayde did the same.

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. Upon impact, the clone can be dispersed.

As Kakashi entered the mist and Short Range of Shayde, his clone registered Kakashi, or to be more specific, his Chakra. It easily stood out amongst all of Shayde's Chakra that was surrounding them, as the Sharingan is able to register Chakra as colors, and everyone's Chakra has a different color. The clone in front of Shayde was able to see Kakashi's first attack due to the Sharingan's excellent perception skills, a simple right handed attack to his face. To respond, the clone extended his left hand out to meet the incoming attack, his fist clenched, he used the back of his hand to divert the attack off to the left side of his head. The clone then grabbed Kakashi by the throat with his right hand and simply smiled...

"Checkmate..."

Description: A very advanced and complex defensive form, the Defensive Crane allows the user to divert the path of incoming attacks with the back of his hands, using circular and wide movements that expand outwards. He can intercept weapons or incoming Taijutsu attacks. The technique is best used when facing an opposing Taijutsu move by diverting the incoming limb to one side and combo the defensive stance with an attack, exploiting the opening created.

At the same time, the real Shayde and the other clone heard the sound made by the exchange of blows between Kakashi and the clone. It was clear that Kakashi decided to attack him head on. A brave, but ultimately foolish plan of attack that would prove to be his downfall, as he was now within the confines of the mist. Shayde looked at the second clone and gave a nod. The clone then grabbed Shayde and tossed him back, out of the mist and away from any immediate danger. He then gathered a small amount of Chakra in his finger tips and snapped them. This small meaningless gesture created friction that the Clone used to create a fire on the tip of his finger. This tiny source of ignition was more than enough to react with the Chakra in the mist, which instantly and violently combusted, dispersing both clones and burning Kakashi. It wasn't fatal, since a small amount of time had passed since the Jutsu was formed and thus it would have certainly weakened, but it would have definitely hurt.

Description: This Jutsu was created using the special paper Sensei's possess to assess a Shinobi's Elemental Affinity as a basis. The user focuses Chakra in their finger/ hand and, by performing a small action that represents the Element they wish to replicate, they produce a raw/ primal form of the chosen Element. While this technique lacks any real "punch", its strength lies in the users imagination. The following is a list of basic examples from the 5 Elemental Natures, note that these are simply basic examples, and not the sole usage of the technique.

Fire: The user can snap their fingers, using the heat caused by the friction to make a "lighter" from their finger/ thumb. Other uses include low heat Fire's, such as Ash.

Wind: The user can twirl their finger around, using the rotation to create a mini-vortex on their fingertip. Other uses include basic variations of Wind, like small gusts.

Lightning: The user can rub their fingers together, using the vibration to mimic a small electrical charge. Other uses include basic variations of Lightning.

Earth: The user can ball their hand into a fist, compressing their Chakra and make a small rock or pebble. Other uses include softer or lighter variations of Earth, such as mud, dirt or dust.

Water: The user can simply draw a line of Water in the air, using free-flowing movements with their finger, creating a "stream" of Water in the air. Other uses include basic variants on the Water Element, such as syrup or oil.

As Shayde picked himself up after being tossed by his clone, dusting himself off and waiting for the smoke from the mist to settle, he realized he hadn't taken a breath since the mist was blown back at him, he gasped for air for a moment before looking over at where Kakashi was when the mist exploded.

As the hand reaches out and grabs Kakashi's throat, without a second of hesitation, he raises both his legs and dropkicks the clone in the gut. The impact would be enough for the clone to disperse and for Kakashi to be thrown back a meter or two, out of the "mist zone." A short moment afterwards the area infront of him would explode. As the dust and smoke dissapears from the field, Kakashi spots Shayde, about midrange to his left side.

Shayde.....I am your father U_U

After saying these words, he performs the tiger handseal, releases his chakra and creates an orb of water, several meters behind Shayde, releasing several whips of water heading towards shayde and impaling his body, leaving some holes in his arms and legs.

It's not like this is a big serious spar or anything, the only thing we have to do is show how well we can perform with 3T Sharingan. So while I have no actual argument with your move, it's the description that matters in the end. How did you see the hand reaching for you? Can you naturally follow fast movements, or is it your Sharingan doing the work for you? What should you do to counter this? Those are the kind of questions you constantly need to ask yourself when writing a reply involving the Sharingan, because it allows perfect visual clarity, almost like you are viewing the move in slow motion. That leads to it either being misused or abused, that's why we're doing this, to show we are proficient with the Sharingan and we are at least finishing our training with the correct knowledge of the KG and any mistakes we make are our own, and not the result of our training or misunderstandings of our training.

Both Shayde and Kakashi easily made it out of the mist before the clone lit it up. A small explosion occurred and as the smoke settled, Shayde saw Kakashi a medium distance from him. "He certainly is resourceful." Shayde thought to himself as Kakashi weaved a hand sign, in clear view of the Sharingan, a big mistake. The Tiger Seal, most notable associated with the Fire Element, but Kakashi's Chakra flow wasn't reflecting this. Fire Release is a violent element, and the Chakra in Kakashi's Chakra flow would have reflected this, but his was more calm. Peaceful. Like an ever flowing river. Shayde didn't know any Water Style technique's that incorporated the Tiger Seal, so he assumed it was a technique he didn't know and decided to play it safe. As Kakashi released a Chakra, which traveled behind Shayde, Shayde gathered Chakra in his body and changed it's nature to Earth by focusing on the aspects of the Earth Element itself, sturdiness would be the most apt description. As Kakashi created the orb of Water, Shayde gathered fragments of rock and earth to his body and compressed them into a full body "armor", created from the ground itself. As the whips tried to pierce through Shayde, they were repelled. The Earth Release Armor was easily able to withstand the power of the whips due to it's compact nature.

Description: This Technique coats the users body with stones, making them much more resistant to attacks, at the cost of their speed. Whilst using this technique, the user can even change their appearance, but once the technique is either defeated or worn off the users original appearance is shown. The user whilst in this armor is resistant to B rank ninjutsu techniques but is vulnerable to Lightning Techniques.

Once the whips were repelled, Shayde put his hands behind his head, donned a cheeky smile and said aloud...

"Are we having fun yet? You've kinda had the upper hand until now, but I think it's about time we took of the kiddie gloves, don't you think?"

Shayde performed the Tiger seal and glanced over at Madara for a second. He thought to himself as he gathered an intense amount of Chakra and air in his lungs, "Looks like I'll be stealing one of your moves...". After combining his Chakra with the air in his lungs, Shayde slowly let out a sigh that spawned small flames that licked the air, which escalated into a full blown exhale, from which a massive stream of flames barreled from his mouth, aimed directly at Kakashi. The flamethrower-esque stream completely dwarfed the Ninja as they completely enveloped him. If Kakashi didn't find a way to defend, block or dodge the attack, all that would be left is a pile of ashes and an entire forest wreathed in the flames of the Uchiha Clan's Fire Jutsu.

Description: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a massive stream of intense flames, after doing the Rat → Ox → Dog → Horse → Monkey → Boar → Tiger hand seals. The technique has an enourmous range and can cover a huge area. When it was used by Madara Uchiha, the massive scale of the technique was such that, in comparisson, his incomplete Susanoo seemed small. The main advantage of the technique is that it can be used to burn large areas in an effect in everything similar to a flamethrower.

Before getting the chance to respond to his oponents words, Kakashi, with his sharingan still activated, saw the tiger handseal being performed. Whilst Shayde threw a look towards Madaras direction, Kakashi could spot a massive chakra build up in his lungs. Raw chakra, moving in an intense pattern. Tiger handseal, intense chakra covering the lungs and throat. A fire technique perhaps? As Shayde redirected his attention towards Kakashi and spit out the flames Kakashi was surprised. The massive amount of chakra he had released would creat alot more flames than this. the second later a massive inferno broke out, headed towards Kakashi. Without wasting any more time he gathered a massive amount of chakram which he then manipulated into his unique suiton, gathering it all in his lungs, before releasing it, creating an enourmous barricade of water infront of himself,slowly turning the flames off. The intense fire would evaporise some of the water, but not all and the rest would simply soak the entire field.

A frontal attack? You underestimate me Shayde, I've copied over 1000 jutsus and im pretty sure around 600 of them are water style so fire will do you no good.

Performing a fast string of five handseals, Kakashi suddenly dissolves in a shower of petals. The petals then surround Shayde, blocking his vision.

In reality Kakashi, after performing said handseals, He simply grabbs two kunais, aims carefully before throwing them towards Shayde, aiming to pierce through both his eyes.
