I read those chapters with the idea that Tobirama could be the old father or grandfather of Minato , Tobirama's attitude is normal , I think I would have done the same as he did.
He is dead , he has nothing to say to his descendance , he will just help them as much as he can in silence.

I guess, but I'm still sure something would've been said. Hashirama is also a chakra sensor to some degree, correct? He no doubt would've pointed something out.

True. But, he's still pretty impulsive. It would make sense for Tobirama's descendent to improve his Jutsu, Hiraishin. That would also mean that 4/5 Hokage are Senju. But, I think that Minato is meant to be a symbol that you don't have to be a part of a clan to accomplish great things.

Or perhaps the Senju line branched out into what would become the Uzumaki. That would explain their blood relation and the Uzumaki sharing powerful bodies and life force with the Senju.

Manga fact is that Nagato have Uzumaki genes and Senju genes , that doesn"'t mean that all the Uzumaki have senju genes.

Hashirama didn't even know who Minato was.

Tobirama died in the First Shinobi World War, and Hiruzen became the teacher of the three Sannin when they were younger.

When Jiraiya was older he mentored Minato.

For Tobirama to be Minato's father, his mother would have had to be pregnant with him for several years. And that's not how it works.
