naruto's looks different because he is using kurama as a avatar. it seems like ashura did not have any bijuu, thus he made it on his own. it also seems like ashura has all he tsb. i am really questioning the sizes represented in that image though.

naruto's looks different because he is using kurama as a avatar. it seems like ashura did not have any bijuu, thus he made it on his own. it also seems like ashura has all he tsb. i am really questioning the sizes represented in that image though.

Plus, ashura could've been like naruto. The sage could've put pieces of each of the bijuu in ashura so he would be like their meeting place whilst still scattering the bijuu around the world.

Also it implies that th Sage watched his Sons grow up first and watched their power mature before deciding he would have Ashura be his successor on his deathbed, which is when he split the tailed beast because it would have gotten out of control and came back to life as noone else was strong enough to contain it. Ashura grew to mature his power like Indra, it's within their blood, they don't need the tailed beast. The beast were free to roam. Gotta look at the timeline.

The Sage clearly states that he gave ashura power. He remarked "give one power before is what made indra's hate and now give them both power and it is the same" or something along those lines. He gave ashura power.

Ashura also had his own power, prob much like naruto. He had his power thru cooperation and hard training but the sage chose ashura and gave him power and leadership over ninshuu.

The sage split the bijuu on his deathbead, yes. But we don't know the true sequence of events before that.

Is it possible the sage saw how ashura had grown and was compassionate and broke him off a piece of the bijuu inside himself before he split the bijuu across the world? Yes

We don't know. But the fact that ashura had a 'bijuu looking avatar' can help us connect the dots IMO

The sage split the juubi after Ashura gained power through cooperation ams hard work as explaines in the scan I posted, his chakra avatar could be a result of him inheriting power from hagoromo since he was jin just as naruto got whiskers from kushina

The same amount of power? To lead? Or is that referring to a quantity of power: an intangible piece of power? Seems to be the latter.

Ashura already had the power to lead because he had gained his original power through cooperation of others. At that point in time, ashura

was probably more or less like naruto. Naruto also already has the power to lead. All the gokage love and admire him and all the shinobi.

I find it difficult to believe that is what the sage was referring to.

it was always only said that the sage left the leadership of ninshuu to ashura. while he did say power in one of the latest chapters, i don't think he means literal power. the sage specifically sad that after observing ashura and everything that he split the bijuu inside himself and scattered them. if he had given him their chakra, he would have said so in that instant. he likens the current situation of splitting his power to that situation when he named ashura his successor.

this is why i don't think ashura had bijuu power, but just his own manifestation of his chakra. i do like how naruto did it though. he combined his clones with the original, which was kinda awesome. he needs to get the gudou dama back though, to make it look more like ashura's. but the head will still be different.
