They downplay cause they are biased against Sasuke.The spelling errors are just an easy thing to piont out,so they go for it,even more so due to knowing that Sasuke is very important to the story and most of it is focused on him.Even when he's not in a arc he is mentioned - like the RS training/Hidan and Kakuzu arc.

Naruto was destined to be the child of prophecy even before Sasuke so this whole concept of Sasuke being a more "important character than Naruto" is already moot.

Doesn't change the fact that Naruto would have died if he wasn't saved by Sasuke numerous times in the war arc and part 1. It doesn't negate the fact that Naruto only got this far because of Sasuke. Naruto may be the child of prophecy, but in order to acheive that destiny he needs Sasuke.

He still needed a non profesy child to seal Kaguya.

Sasuke achieved the same feats from sealing Kaguya as Naruto without any profesy.

except naruto was special. naruto fought kaguya by himself for the most part, and he did quite well to be honest. sasuke really only applied the other seal toward sealing her. you are also forgetting the point of the "prophecy". the prophecy is not just some one line thing. basically it says naruto would be the jin of every bijuu. meet and fight a few people. then he would bring peace unto the world. naruto is the focus of the prophecy, but other people are obviously gonna be involved in it. the fact that part of the prophecy involves him fighting sasuke means that he will be important. the prophecy has nothing to do really with kaguya, do you need to get off that.
