Naruto & Sasuke!

Fact: Every fight between these two Naruto has been nerfed. In all of their fights sasuke came at Naruto with the intent to outright kill him, however Naruto never once attempted to kill sasuke.

Plot will never allow Naruto to fight sasuke with killing intent, Naruto with killing intent/anger is superior

Nerf does not equal to an intent to kill. Even if he had a kill intention, it doesn't really mean he's much stronger than Sasuke. Just saying.

Ah I see. Well true I suppose. Not sure if I'd call it a nerf, more of just how Naruto is. not everyone fights for the sole purpose a killing. Part of the Saviour architype Naruto has I suppose.

In NV it does, fighting without killing intent is basically not fighting seriously. Kakashi explained this in part 1 bell test.

At the end of the fight at VoTE the first time when Naruto was unconscious Sasuke could've kilt him. IMO Kishi makes Sasuke talk about killing Naruto but knows Sasuke will never go through with it because he actually doesn't have the intent to kill. I think it's just to get them to fight to showcase how far they come since the last time they fought but holding back enough not to kill each other if that makes sense.

But again just my opinion.

That was sasuke simply declaring he wouldn't obtain power by following in itachi's footsteps, however he's trying to kill naruto yet again.

When Hashirama had the kill intention, he didn't kill Madara in a short span of time. Even then, he stumbled after doing so.

Hashirama was the same as Naruto, he didn't want to kill madara. However after realizing how lost madara was he gave up on him. He decided to put the village first and put madara down.
