Most overrated HxH character? (strength-wise)

Didn't see any Hunter x Hunter character getting overrated so far.
Well, Netero is probably the fastest, if not, one of the fastest characters. He far surpasses pre-Rose Meruem in speed, and his hits pack quite the punch, so him being in the top 5 is a no problem at all.

Netero deserves his hype. he's proven his strength against mereum who else could have lasted that long against him?
OT: Hisoka imo whenever i see something relating to HxH on other forums hisoka is always that guy their hyping up and making it seem like he beats everyone

I don't think anyone is hyped up in hxh sure we very few fanboys for certain characters but what do u expect
I'm a hisoka fanboy but a logical one ... Nothing he has shown comes close to him defeating pitao (addressing guy who said tht) what Pitao has shown in a fight between the 2 it b mid diff at best and even I feel Thts being generous maybe semi mid diff

I don't see anyone that's overrated/hyped. Togashi does an awesome job of writing good characters. So, I'd say no one.

Yeah there are certain characters like Gin, Chrollo who have a level of mystery and excitement associated with their powers(when they will be fully revealed) but togashi balances them and excitement is based on the glimpses of powers they displayed or the style in which they are written.
Togashi creates perfect balance in his characters power wise and YYH is a testament to it.

It doesn't have to do anything with the mangaka's writing, it's the fanbase that overrates characters. Overrated characters are in most battle shonen manga/series. I'm talking about strength-wise as well, not his overall character. Yes, Netero was written well but his strength is overrated. I believe some of the zodiacs/troupe members/beyond could of done a better job than Netero with handling with the ant king. (They would still lose but not as fast as Netero did)
