Go to 0:54 look at when madara starts going ham on everyone + sasuke chasing him whilst destroying the stone pillars by running into them.

Why doesn't kishi make the fights more like this?

Why should they?

They are under no moral obligation to make good stuff; as long as it sells, it's good enough.

They make a lot of money since the anime & manga is doing really well, so shouldn't they atleast make the fight animations better?

Because animation equals money? It's easy to make an opening of utmost quality because they don't go past 3 minutes or so. If they made an entire episode or fight with that kind of animation, each episode would be about ten minutes long.

The graphics of the anime are better than the opening but the fight animation in the opening is a lot better than the anime. Tbh if they had to reduce the anime graphics a little bit to make the fight animations in the anime more like the openings, then I wouldn't care lol...

Am i the only one who thinks that the scene where Sasuke is after Madara and destroying those pillars looks exactly like the scene from The Amazing Spiderman 2 when Electro was after Spidey? Just watch the trailer and tell me that scene isn't a ripoff.

OT: To create that kind of animation takes a lot of money and they do so only for the openings, endings and some of the fight. The generics are pretty much 3 mins in total(maximum) and they change it like once or twice a year so they don't go overbuget. It would take a lot of money to pay great animators to make all the episodes like that.

That's not how it works at all. The studio gives them a budget based on how much the anime makes, and they have that budget per episode. Once they've reached the budget, that's it, that's how much episode you're getting. Making scenes where people are standing and the only real movement is their lips top-notch is a giant waste of money that could be pooled into other special scenes. You know that scene recently where Kakashi and Obito are fighting in the dimension and people were saying how great it was? You can bet your ass that only happened because they didn't make every fight scene like that.

Not to mention that a fight scene happens rapidly, so by pooling a ton of money into them, they're using up money on scenes that have frames that go by quickly. They'd further be wasting money by making frames you're not even gonna fully see beautiful, and then scenes of dialogue and slower-paced fighting ugly as **** once the budget starts running low.

Pooling most of the money on just the fights will result in ugly scenes, which take most of the episodes most of the time anyways. If a majority of the anime is ugly, people stop watching. That means smaller revenue, smaller budget, even uglier anime, people stop watching, smaller revenue, smaller budget, anime gets uglier...eventually you just have an ugly anime with a small budget, and then you have the same frames being used five times per episode with the dialogue mismatching the lip movement like it's DBZ.

Or you have a much shorter anime, which can have the same result.

At the end of the day, it hurts the anime and the studio, and by extension, you, far more than it helps.

Because they are following the manga and you can't put a fight like that in 18 pages.

Thanks for the explanation tbh if they made the main fight scenes as epic as they made it look in the opening 16 for the important bits like madara revival etc, then I would be more than pleased :)

But they can add in filler fights for the main bits lol

That has to be favourite opening now >.>

OT: Openings are only about two-minutes long. It's shown in half of the episodes we get in a year (a new opening is released every six months). The animators might as well animate the openings with higher frames per second since it's something we see all the time. After all, openings are one of the things that attract people to the anime. We do get episodes that are animated just as well as openings but that is rare.
