Including the introduction to the time skip characters, build up and main fight, which if its "the last" then it should be long as hell?

Damn it seems like the manga is going to end with a lot of unanswered questions. That kind of sucks but I'll make a final judgement once I actually read the last 6 chapters. The last chapter is coming out the day after my 24th birthday.

I guess this means the fight will end with 2 chapters so that there is time to tie up other stuff. I was looking for an epic fight on a level of Hashi and Madara. I guess that's not happening now because there has to be time for them to talk things out after the fight.

I suppose you're right, but after the manga what's done is done. No more predictions, no more threads asking if there will be a chapter tonight, no more Hagoromo is evil/trolling threads.. It'll all be gone unless there is a part 3. All we will have is the upcoming movie as you've said, and we will be able to awe at the hopefully well animated upcoming anime fights.

If there is a part three, it probably won't be by kishi's hand. Wow. It seems as though Kishi's is ready to move on from Naruto

indeed, our last 5 weeks. It truly feels like the apocalypse is coming to end our existence, doesn't it?

The only evidence of a manga having multiple extended chapters at the end of the series that I know of was FMA, and that was only because the anime was inevitably going to catch the manga before it ended. I'd be very surprised if more than just the final chapter was extended. I'd also be surprised if the 5 weeks thing is true as the manga itself gave no indication of it coming to an end, only cryptic clues through the movie.

Either way, still dumbfounded and quite disappointed if there are only 5 weeks left.
