I know right!? Sasuke's character is officially ruined for me. He thinks he understands how Itachi lived but, in all reality, he is still as clueless as ever. Itachi is probably face-walling so hard right now.

Okay, this is so ridiculous. Sasuke STILL doesn't understand Itachi, and Naruto understands him better than his own brother. And Sasuke originally wanted to avenge Itachi's death, but now he's going to erase the past to do so. The contradiction in Sasuke's plan is so dumb (in my opinion, if you like Sasuke please don't get offended c: ) I can't even explain it. :dead:

He understands Itachi and what he would want him to perfectly. But Sasuke isn't just doing what others want him to do anymore. He's making his decsions based on the life Itachi led, not on his ideals and principles. In esscence that's what this fight is. A clash between Itachi's life and his ideals. It's amazing how relevant he still is despite being dead.​

Isn't that hilarious? XD I think I said this in the Naruto FC, but while everything about Itachi goes over Sasuke's head, Naruto actually gets it. At one point, that would've been the other way around. And you know, Sasuke even said that Itachi was just a shadow of the past to him now. U_U Right?? "I'll kill the Kages to end hatred and violence," when it's only going to perpetuate more hatred and violence. :|

How does everyone feel about the manga ending in November?

Latest chapter made me like Sasuke less, and Naruto as well for that matter. xD Both are so unrealistic, whereas Sasuke is much worse since it's 100% hypocritical. Naruto will obviously win. Only a matter of time before Sasuke is tnj'd.

However, it'll be a combination of both their beliefs that will make the shinobi system right. So, they'll both technically win.

I don't want to see anymore flashbacks of Itachi. Love him, but I don't want Kishimoto to ruin him in any way. (There's always a possibility of that, a very low one with Itachi, but still.) He's great the way he is. <3

As for how I feel about the manga ending... well... I suppose it's the right time. Obviously, I'd want the story to continue, but I definitely don't want to see it turn sour and end up not liking it anymore (which already happened to some). So in a way, now is the right time.

Ehh, it's the same for me. As much as i'd like it to continue, I'd rather it end strong then drag out and become a mess. The chapter didn't make me like Sasuke any less but i'm not sure how I feel about the path he's chosen. I think it's brave of him to choose to bear all the hatred himself but as far "sacrificing Naruto as an offering to Itachi" and completely erasing the past....well that's just nuts Lol. Then there's the hypocritical problem.

A new flashback of Itachi wouldn't ruin him imo, but I understand your concerns. He's off to a good start though, that "He was the true Hokage" panel practically made me squeal. Lol ​

I can’t like Sasuke less if I tried, and my feelings about Naruto haven’t changed. While I agree, both ideas are pretty unrealistic, Sasuke’s in particular like you mentioned. :| Yup, it’s true. And don’t forget the Rasegan-Chidori clash! xD

I see what you mean. But like Truth says, I totally geeked out when I saw the recent Itachi panels. <3 So I wouldn’t mind a couple more flashbacks. Then Itachi can rest at last. Just think: we can say that our favorite character, even though he’s dead, was there until the very end.

I agree with you, it’s the right time. And I’d like to see it continue as well, which is why I’m so hopeful for the movie and new project. If the series is the continue after all, I want it to be done right. ^^

Yeah, that’s true. :/ But like you said: this is a battle of Itachi’s ideals versus the life he led. We could yet see at least one more flashback. At least I hope so. xD
