The greatest Hokage are those who are able to look in the face of the greatest criminals and see their crimes and forgive them, that is the hardest thing to do this is backed up by the fact Nagato killed Jiraiya and Naruto stood there in front of the person who killed him had the anger to want to kill Nagato right there but forgave him.

Naruto is naive, I think most of base agrees with you on that. Naruto has a LOT of growing up to do before he can sit in the Hokage seat. Same for Sasuke in all honesty.

Let me explain something. A large philosophical theme in Naruto is the cycle of hatred. When Naruto met Nagato he even said himself he could not forgive him. What good does killing him do at that point though? What is done is done. Instead of attackng Naruto chose to try to understand Nagato, and why he did he things he had done. At the end Nagato used rinne tensei and brought back he villagers he had killed so I'd say that he made the right choice.

You see this idea of the cycle of hatred....I will try to explain it simply to you. What is justice? What could be considered justice to one could be considered simple revenge to another. Think about it.

What if someone had killed someone close to you.
Would it be justice for you to kill them? If you did, what of their family members? Is it in the name of justice you take their family member away because you lost yours? It simply creates a never ending cycle of hatred and pain. Naruto's goal is to end this. A ridiculous and probably impossible task, but also a noble one.

Sasuke thinks that power can solve everything and that is foolish. He thinks he can do everything on his own, despite the fact that 30 minutes ago the world would have ended had he had things his way. If Naruto wasn't there to keep Sakura Kakashi and Obito alive, Kaguya would have won. Even with these facts staring him in the face he still refuses to admit he is wrong, and you still think he's the better hokage candidate. Fool.
