Sasuke has a point: The people shouldn't pick the Hokage

Sasuke never once said or believed that he'd be chosen to be Hokage. His argument is plain and simple: Democracy doesn't work. Because retards like Nardo get put in, rather than geniuses like Itachi. Itachi is a better Hokage candidate in every regard, besides possibly being weaker than Naruto presently. But yeah give Itachi EMS + Rinnegan and suddenly it's an even field.

Sas-gay becoming Hokage is a long shot, but honestly I doubt Naruto would even be chosen by the people at this point. He's too young.

Everybody understands how stupid Naruto is but thats why Shikamaru wanted to be his Advisor for that exact reason.

At least Naruto focus on a unified Shinobi world without hate. Something that no other character could understand, not even Itachi. As long as there is hate there will never be peace.

OP with all due respect, I think you are missing some points of the Manga. Naruto is the proof that everyone deserves a 2nd chance, he was a outcast by his village comrades because of hosting the kyubii, managed to change that in order to become a hero that fought and saved his village, not as a weapon but as a member of Konoha being recognized by everyone. All hopes were and are on him.

Please, take a look at Pain arc and take some lessons from it. Your points are biased and wrong since you are intepreting things as you want and not as they in fact are stated in the manga.

I am not sure that anyone wants Naruto to actually be Hokage. I think even Obito predicted Kakashi will be the next Hokage. My 2 cents, your mileage may vary. Even if he beats Sasuke, I think he prolly isnt headed towards becoming Hokage immediately.

Madara was proof some people cannot change -- they don't want to. In the end, Madara doubled down on his ideals and forced Hashirama to kill him. I doubt Sasuke ends up the same way, but he'll avoid using the TB's power. But let's face it.

If Sasuke used the TB's powers: He'd easily kill Naruto and Kakashi. Negative diff. But he won't, because he's trying to prove a point.

Edit: Agree! Imo he is destined to be Hokage but even if he doesn't become one he is already superior to that title.

We don't know if he can kill Naruto even by using the TB's powers.

The burden of proof is on you. We can't state things that never happened in the Manga, who knows which powerup Naruto gets or what is the real strength of his Avatar.

Naruto will be Hokage. It is not all power and intellect, it is about understanding and care and sympathy of the people.

Look I mean NB clearly likes Naruto more, but this is a simple case of popular support !== good leadership IMO. Naruto is the George W. Bush candidate. We'd all rather go for a beer with Naruto than Sasuke, obviously. But who is the better leader of men and leader of a nation? Honestly, neither of them. They're both too young and idealistic. But if I had to pick, it's prolly Sauce. Because he at least sees the current world of NV has series issues.

Itachi would hands down be a better Hokage than Naruto. Anyone arguing that is IMO a delusional fanboy.

I gave you strong reasons of why I differ from your opinion. But your last statement totally disproves you as a serious person to debate with, because you wouldn't even listen to reason only because there are people who differ... I mean...
