I will just say this...He has his dreams of being Hokage. Tsunade is still going to be Hokage until she steps down which is plenty of time for Naruto to focus on the essentials of being a Hokage.

Kishi can have Naruto grow up in the New Era Project while Kakashi takes care of business. Ultimately Shikamaru is the only one qualified for the job, so long as he isn't lazing about the place staring at clouds. Why do people always say that Naruto is too young to be Hokage when Sasuke is the same age? By the way, it's clear that Naruto isn't going to become Hokage right away. Naruto will still grow up and learn more stuff before he becomes Hokage. Look at how much he changed and matured during his 3 years away from the village. How much will he grow during the years before he becomes Hokage?

It's also clear that Naruto doesn't have a plan for peace just yet, that's why he's not rushing his decision like Sasuke.

Itachi had all the markings of a great leader. Even Hashirama thought so. The fact is, Naruto is *unfit* to be Hokage.

Sasuke's current problems are divided in two.

a) Sasuke won't trust anyone, but he doesn't have a plan for immortality, reducing his revolution to something that will only last during his time "alive". In order to inherit the revolution to a future generation, he will need to trust. Here lies a paradox that has not been solved by him, creating the need of trust. Ergo, Sasuke's answer is far from complete.
b) There is no guarantee Sasuke won't become like another Madara. If Sasuke inherits his revolution, there is no guarantee that the future generations from Sasuke onwards won't become like another Madara.

The main problem of Sasuke's answer is not that he need the aknowledgement of people... his main problem is that he alone will fail no matter what he says. This was proved by Kaguya, by Madara, by Obito and even by Itachi. Sasuke, even with infinite power, WILL FAIL.

Apart from Hashirama (Chose by madara), Tobirama (Chose by Hashirama), Hiruzen (Chose by Tobirama), Minato (Chose by Jiraiya), Tsunade (Chose by Jiraiya) and Danzo (Chose by Feudal Lord), all hokages have been chosen by the people. I don't see why sasuke should be any different.

Look I mean NB clearly likes Naruto more, but this is a simple case of popular support !== good leadership IMO. Naruto is the George W. Bush candidate. We'd all rather go for a beer with Naruto than Sasuke, obviously. But who is the better leader of men and leader of a nation? Honestly, neither of them. They're both too young and idealistic. But if I had to pick, it's prolly Sauce. Because he at least sees the current world of NV has series issues.
