No light skins comes from the fact that people moved north, to places where they got much less sun. And since you have to get enough sun to live they got light skin that is more sensitive to the sun. Therefore white people can function even if they get much less sun than a black person. And if the people in Africa didn't have black skin, they would probably all die of skin cancer
