the key word is "control" bee befriended the eight tails to control it and Gaara never was able to control the one tails the Uchiha clan would succumb to the breast even with genjutus. The point of jin is to be used as a weapon and inside an Uchiha it would b rendered useless

Why go through the pain of trying to control a beast by being it's host then dying after losing it,when u can simply control it with your eyes?

I doubt it has anything to do with the synchronization of chakras, seeing as in all the other villages non-Uzumaki were used as jinchuuriki and were able to handle them to an extent. Because of Naruto's accomplishments and gaining of acknowledgement, we tend to forget that being a jinchuuriki was almost considered a stigma, and was most certainly considered a weapon. From what we have seen, relation to a kage, mastering of the tailed beast, and outright secrecy were the only things that protected many jinchuuriki.

The Uchiha, being a noble clan, would most likely be against offering one of their own to be a sacrifice, despite the (potential) power that might come with it. The "powers of human sacrifice" that they reaped were instead their sharingan.

They don't have as much chakra as Uzumaki does.

I think Uchiha bodies could handle it. Random non-senju clans such as Gaara and Killer Bee were Jins without some super body.

I think one of the issues were obvious politics. The other, were that the Leaf had closest access to the Senju (and relative Uzumaki). These clan members could remove the possibility of a Jinchurriki's body being rejected, therefore it is the safest and most ethical way of choosing a Jin.
it was necessarily random with gaara and killer bee
gaara was the first one who was compatible of his siblings

and A mentions that killer bee's cousin had everything you need to be able to control a jinchuuriki
including lineage

Damn, called me on everything.

The point I would like to make is that Gaara doesn't seem to have good lineage (being that he was the first of his siblings), but could handle it. Killer B I did not know had a good lineage for it.

I still would bet Uchiha could handle it, but I have no proof honestly. Uchiha aren't noted for their strong bodies in the manga, but they aren't discredited as having weak bodies. One of those things Kishi will have to answer in an interview someday Lol

Gj for the thorough response too, damn lol it was good.

The only reason Obito and Madara could, was because of the Senju DNA.

Their bodies are weak for Bijuu.

Madara was the kyubbi's jinchuriki before the fight with Hashirama at the valley of the end

1) Balance of power. Uchiha were already an asset, using an Uzumaki gave the village another one. Two is better than one as they can cover twice as much.

2) Then 9 tails was embodiment of hate. An Uchiha whose power flairs with emotion and may make them go berserk ( happy go lucky Obito after the death of Rin) in unpredictable ways.. It's a very dangerous combo if they lose control even for a few moments.
A very bad idea.

3) Jinchurikies are depicted as lonely persons who are always looked with apprehension and fear and thus shunned by the people of their own village most of the times. Would be fun to be a jinchuriki for a beast they could summon anyway.

4) Most importantly- There have been only three jinchurikies so far. Naruto might not even have gotten it yet but for the circumstances - finding a jinchuriki then and there.

Are you suggesting that they should have extracted kayuubi and killed Mito because there was a shinobi like Kagami among Uchihas and it might make them happy? It would have been very nice that Mito was killed so that Uchihas could be given the bijju candy.

Or Killed Kushina in similar way when they found out that Shisui could be trusted?

Or killed the kid who was made a jinchuriki in a pinch because Itachi might have been a good jin?

"Hey let's kill this 8 year old because that 14 year old also could be a good candidate."

Maybe Minato should have marked Itachi and flew to Uchiha house in the dying moment and made him a jin... wait that would mean Minato knew how Itachi would turn out to be so stable when he was only 5 and Uchihas would have been very happy that Sasuke's baby sitter was taken away to create a new jin... He would only need more chakra and time and a vision to see the future... hmmm

Plot may go to hell... Uchiha fan would be happy.

The uchiha all had nonja aids that left their bodies frail. Strong eyesight though. Those contacts really do work.

Didn't mean to call you out like that but I needed some kind of reason to show them scans to point out that there were some kind of special reason as to why they were chosen as jins and that there had to be some type of compatibility

NOT TALKING ABOUT THE BAD SHIT CRAZY ONES, talking more along the lines of Shisui, Kagami and Itachi. People that the Kage trusted and wouldn't be chained to their clan. They would have made sleight work of the Bijuu and had the easiest time with them

you need special chakra to make the bijuus bend

One could argue that even Gaaras body wasnt fit to be a Jin seeing as he couldn't even go to sleep with out the beast taking over.

Or maybe that's just a side effect of having that particular beast.

Then again it's previous Jins didn't seem to have that problem.
