Who is better written, Sakura or Rin

Rin, even if rin didnt have a lot of panel time, rin had way more impact on kakashi and obito who happen to be major characters of the series, and even if rin was in love with kakashi, she wasnt infatuated with him and knew where to stop, whilst sakura has had way more panel time than any other women in NV but as soon as we see a sign of development, she goes back to her status of crybaby sasuke fan, sakura took a lot of panel time that could have gone to other characters with more potential.

rin is better for me. shes more of a protector for kaka and obi. she had to accept obito died and couldnt keep his promise, then she sacrificed herself.

well rin is to obito, what the uchiha clan and itachi are to sasuke, what sasuke is to naruto, what sasuke is to sakura, every major character has kind of an obsesion with somebody else, besides rin was the trigger for obito to realize the world was a living hell, just as itachi was the trigger of sasuke´s revenge and actions, it really doesnt bother me obito talks a lot about her, because sasuke does the same with uchiha and itachi and naruto always talks about sasuke, for obito rin´s death was the most defining moment of his life

Well, as a result of the way her (Rin's) character is portrayed in the story, and the very limited scope of story she is actively a part of, Sakura is obviously more developed, as far as ongoing character progression through the story arcs is concerned.

I still prefer Rin's character immensely, but sakura has been present throughout the entirety of the main stories plot and has changed, grown and shrunk much more than Rin possibly could have in her minimal involvement in the stories main events. (Main events meaning events that shaped the lives and interactions of "Naruto & Friends" throughout the length of the Non-Flashback plot)

Throw Rin out of his character and then he has no reason to begin with. Rin's death is what motivated Obito to embrace Madara's ideals and see the world as Hell. How would taking Rin out be perfect? If anything, that would hurt Obito's character because then he would just look like some guy who was just trying to take over the world and who didn't really care about peace.

Madara is to Izuna
Sasuke is to Itachi
Nagato is to Yahiko
Orochimaru is to his parents
Kabuto is to his foster mother
Obito is to Rin

Do you get the analogies I am making here? Taking Rin out of Obito's character is like taking Izuna away from Madara or taking Itachi and the Uchiha clan away from Sasuke. With these influences in their lives, you have people who aren't really evil, but have radical ideas for peace.

What do you have without these influences? Murderers! That is all.
