The technique FTG is instant

But the attack that comes afterwards is not instant whether it be a simple slash or a rasengan

What does this mean

It means that a person with better reaction speed than the ftg user can dodge his attack, thus the ftg user can never touch said person

You still need incredible reflexes to dodge one since the move itself is instant.

what if the did their move went before teleporting?

(Ex : Minato sticks out a kunai like he stabbed someone then used FTG. )

Would that be instant?

Minato's natural speed even without the FTG was supposed to be enough to blitz anyone. Cool story though...

Pretty much, another reason why sensing is great.

^This. Plus, the FTG utilizer is going to appear extremely close to that person instantly and odds are the person won't know from what direction. It's a really deadly technique and not easy to counter at all.

Actually if the opponent is marked, then the attack is instant. However if it's teleporting to a marking, then it all comes down to striking speed.

Which only Juubi Jins and Demi gods have been able to react to.

Yes probably, but if the person is smart, he should be prepared

Obvious from the get go

Not as many people as you think know this though. Well, maybe they do know, but they don't acknowledge that its a fact. Especially Sasuke fanboys - they think his teleportation can't be dodged.

It's an instant attack only if what U're attacking has been marked else it depends on striking/Reaction speed

Sasuke's speed can't be dodged except for Kaguya and naruto Lol everyone else gets blitzed even Jubi jin madara has been blitzed.

lets not make this a topic since it's about FGT which gets easily blitzed

Yes ,madara didn't evade the instant teleportation but he evaded/reacted to the user's striking speed ,same goes for sasuke's s/t ,he relies on his striking speed after teleporting in front of the enemy but his striking speed is superior to that of tobirama and minato thanks to rikudo chakra however kaguya could evade it easily

Minato still pretty fast with striking speed seeing as not many can dodge that

I think you should also add that FTG of clones is slower, thus it's speed varies too.

The initiation speed of the technique can vary, however the teleportation itself is always instant.

It's just like when minato teleported Kurama and the tailed beast bomb. He couldn't instantly teleport them, he had to build up the chakra first.
