Love At First Sight

It’s been a while since I last felt the way I do now,
the way I feel when I lay my eyes upon you,
my heart just screams “I love you” so loud,
and I have yet to mention how warm I feel next to you too.

It wasn’t even until a few weeks ago when I saw you passing by on that summer day,
as beautiful as a camellia, what I would describe as love at first sight,
it was after that day, that I decided the your side is the only one which I want to stay,
so I can cherish your warm presence and your kind smile, ever so bright.

Even if I’m not your one and true love,
I hope you know that you mean the world to me,
so whenever you’re feeling down, look to the skies above,
and remember that you’ll always have me to see.
