You mean the back passes to Henry and Drogba ? These mistakes are not that horrendous TBH, any player can fall for them. He did 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 mistakes in like what.. 675+ games. It's no big deal, yeah ?
Lamps workrates are amazing if you compare him to an ordinary player, but not so if you're comparing him to Gerrard.
Well tackles, yellow cards, red cards are part of the game. And again Gerrard had to do both attacking and defending. Lampard had the chance to attack more freely than Gerrard, because of Ballack.
You'd say Xabi, but the thing is Xabi was more of a libero than a defending midfielder. His job was to read the game and play diagonal passes that creates chances for the team. Kind of what Gerrard is right now.
Finishing inside the box is Lampard thing, he's superior than Gerrard in that aspect. But outside the area I have to give it to Gerrard.
Likewise, I respect your opinion, but I believe Gerrard was more influential than Lampard.
It will be a crime if he retires without the PL medal. He won everything but the PL.
He would have won alot of these if he moved to Manutd in 2001, 2003 or 2005.
Or even in Chelsea when they wanted him in 2004 and 2005. But it's loyalty mate
I got the stats from ESPNFC.com
They are much more reliable than other sites.
