Interesting, but OP makes some big leaps. The Japanese text is deliberately ambiguous. We have no idea who Sasuke is trying to protect. It may very well be Madara, his wife or Sakura or something. Or if it is Naruto, he may be protecting Naruto due to some other reason.

I think Kakashi becoming Hokage is likely. Naruto is just too young to be the Hokage right now.

And the other kage would be just fine with this?

I'm not sure they get a vote. If Gaara knew what happened with Itachi, he'd probably forgive Sauce. The other Kage may very well be toast.

I think Kakashi becoming Hokage is likely. Naruto is just too young to be the Hokage right now.

Naruto is not there, so Sasuke has no choice but to protect Kakashi who is in an important political position, it doesn't get any clearer than that.

Naruto goes on some kind of dangerous mission; the person he speaks to is Hinata (you can tell Kishi will just do the Naru/Hina route at this point...). Kakashi is Rokudaime, as other people have stated, and Sasuke returns to Konoha to help protect Hinata in Naruto's place.

Sasuke actually looks like he's dressed as a traveler; I doubt he'll get TNJ'ed by Naruto, but instead will be defeated and wander the earth by his own choice.
