Yeah, but that isn't what you said at first. At first, you worded your opinion as though all forms of fame were the same, shallow cry for attention. Also, I don't see what's wrong with attention. Human beings have a natural need for attention. If you aren't like Kanye West who do stupid shit and demand it because the lack of 24/7 attention brings you into withdrawal, then **** it, all to you.

there is nothing wrong with attention, what is wrong is when that attention comes from demeaning and exploiting yourself, which we are seeing a great deal of.

I see your point. As to clarify mine, I was only referring to people that have no particular passion and just crave the fame. I include musicians, mainly hiphop which is a poser cult.

I think that you are speaking with minimal background information if that's really what you think of hip hop.

I honestly take offense to that. I think the problem with Hip Hop is that, being that it started as underground music, it still holds deeps roots to its underground origins. While many people see hip hop as an "easy" way to stardom, they're wrong. What you're thinking of as hip hop, the shallow artists who are trying to make a buck, isn't hip hop. The mainstream shines brightest, so it's easy to be blinded by people like Logic, or Joey Badass, or Crooked I,who overflow with passion and talent with what they're doing, while people like Minaj and Iggy get so much attention. That's why I'm grateful artists like Kendrick Lamar, and Childish Gambino have been bringing true light to what's actually Hip Hop and what's actually good to the mainstream. If you haven't heard Good Kid m.A.A.d City, I highly recommend it, I definitely think it'll make you reconsider your stance as hip hop as a poser cult.

And again, my short, unelaborated posts cause some confusion. But it's still a poser cult. Trying to look dangerous and like they don't care. Then there are the rappers with meaningful lyrics or brilliant flow and instrumentals. For example; I listen to wiz khalifa and only shit comes out of his mouth. Drugs, "*****es", money, champagne and boom! An album is created.

Famous.

Everyone seems to want to be famous but is the money really worth it, think about it, when you look on celebrity news sites, the majority of them live unhealthy, bizarre, unhappy lives, most celebrities now have little talent and just sell *** instead of music and movies making them more like visual prostitutes, I mean if you are a talented singer and actor why do you have to behave in such a demeaning way and the male celebrities do it to, maybe not to the extent of the female celebrities but they do, do it.

There are some very genuine talent but mostly in the acting world with most musicians now using style and *** to sell there music rather than relying on actual musical talent and sometimes even if they are talented.

So would you really want to be famous if it meant living a self demeaning life that is self destructive, unhealthy and at best bizarre?

I wouldn't want to be famous at all
I don't care about being famous, I just want to be rich. If being famous would make it possible to be rich then I'd be famous.

In terms of my art yes, I would like to be known because it shows me that my art's worthy of attention. But to the point where i have to perform for my audience, no thank you. My art stays a part of me, and, besides commissions, I don't want to be anyone's pet in terms of storyline contemplation.
