Famous.

Everyone seems to want to be famous but is the money really worth it, think about it, when you look on celebrity news sites, the majority of them live unhealthy, bizarre, unhappy lives, most celebrities now have little talent and just sell *** instead of music and movies making them more like visual prostitutes, I mean if you are a talented singer and actor why do you have to behave in such a demeaning way and the male celebrities do it to, maybe not to the extent of the female celebrities but they do, do it.

There are some very genuine talent but mostly in the acting world with most musicians now using style and *** to sell there music rather than relying on actual musical talent and sometimes even if they are talented.

So would you really want to be famous if it meant living a self demeaning life that is self destructive, unhealthy and at best bizarre?

I wouldn't want to be famous at all

I wouldn't want to be famous at all. To me, it is more of a detriment than it is a benefit.

There are some famous people who love healthy lives and steer clear from the paparazzi and typical fame lifestyle.

That's the type of famous I want to be

Correlation does not mean causation.
Being famous doesn't necessarily have to entail what you are saying. For every celebrity that you say is "bad" nowadays in mainstream, I could probably name three that aren't and are living healthy lives that you can respect.

One sour apple doesn't make apples a bad fruit.

Why would I want to be famous? Fame and money isn't all that matters. :)

Craving fame is for simpletons who got their mindset programmed by media and what not.

I just want to be happy and stop being a economic slave. Working 40 hours a week for a living..i despise it.

Meh, I see achieving fame as a way as being acknowledged. I don't see what's wrong with having happiness, a good family, close friends, and good morals, and also being famous. Neil Patrick Harris is one great example of having both. I don't see why people are acting like the two can never be together, maybe just so they can look insightful or something.

No. I hate being in the spotlight, both figuratively and literally.

And being famous doesn't make you inherently bad or ill. There's a lot of famous people that are leading healthy, and happy lives.

The need to achieve fame solely because of the attention is just sad and is a trademark of people that have no thought out lifegoal that makes them happy. Now, if you have a specific hobby you excell at and practice with passion and would like to breakthrough with it and get known, that's fine. But just wanting to be famous without any talent or real passion is for people with a bloated ego. Like commercial musicians (pitbull, robin thicke) or talentless (paris hilton, kardashians)

And then there are the ones that keep pointing out their own fame and wealth like most rappers.

Maybe not now, but I definitely want to be widely remembered/revered after I die. The thought that my existence will someday be completely forgotten scares the shit out of me, and I will do anything to make sure that it doesn't happen.

I wouldn't. The idea of every aspect of my life being open to the public eye is extremely disturbing to me.

One of my dreams is to publish novels but I think I would publish them under a pen name if I did, because if they ever achieved wide popularity I wouldn't want to be known.

Yeah, but that isn't what you said at first. At first, you worded your opinion as though all forms of fame were the same, shallow cry for attention. Also, I don't see what's wrong with attention. Human beings have a natural need for attention. If you aren't like Kanye West who do stupid shit and demand it because the lack of 24/7 attention brings you into withdrawal, then **** it, all to you.
