i think the rinnegan Could have been unlocked by ashura, hashirama, or naruto

1. No I really don't, but I belive the full power of the sages body can be unlocked if ashura or one of his transmigrants had the same intention of madara. Like cultivating their other's flesh through medical ninjustu. We all know hashi has hax healing prowess, what was to stop him from ripping a piece of flesh from maddy and sprikling a lil here and there all over his body.
Theoretically it's possible.
If maddy takes the other trans. and get the rikudou's eyes, what's stoping hashi from getting the sages body.

Hashi has the body. Hashirama doesn't need madara's body. The only thing he needed was madara's EMS and he would've awakened the rinnegan

All they had to do was take their eyes and put them in nagato proved an uzumaki can have the rinnegan and use godly techniques and I'm pretty sure a senju would have no problem but the thing is ashura didn't crave the power to beat Indra just to be his equal and prove he's not useless but really either of them with the rinnegan is impossible to beat uchihas with the rinnegan are still beatable madara was OP when he had a little of hashi cells and his sm now imagine full sm hashi with limbo tendo etc. how could u beat him and he is also a master medic and has powerful summons imagine those summons with the rinnegan

I'm actually inclined to belive it could go either way, the only reason why I didn't say that was because they would they have the rinnegan to whitch a lota people think is really impractical, so I went with something more realistic.
but in all honesty I don't think the eyes carry the chakra but I look at it more as agateway from the chakra in the brain. If that makes any sense.
Anyother thing is thou, maddy didn't get the eye and the body until he became jubii jin, so I think it just increase one side of the coin.
for maddy it like (asuming all indra's transmigrants unlocked ems) ems sharingan->>>> rinnegan

^^^ this exactly except the whole hashi would be to op. Madara was to OP with the rinnegan js. It should go both ways not a double standard for hashi because he was naturally stronger.
