Will Naruto (The series) become a long living god of manga/anime?

Let me elaborate. Naruto is very popular and even people who don't like the series are aware of the (basic) plot, which is ninjas. Its already an manga/anime god to a degree. However, we've yet to see how long it will take for the series to die. Take DBZ for example. The show ended in 1996 but is still one of the most popular animes out there. It still has games, movies and remakes galore. Several future generations will probably still experience DBZ like many of us have even though it ended before they were born. The bottom line is that the series has ended, but its far from a dead series. Will Naruto be similar? Will the series still be very much alive almost 20 years after it has ended? Thoughts/Predictions?

It's not a god in any way. Shows like Fate/Zero, Death Note, Haruhi Suzimiya, and some others are "god-like," if you will. Definitely not Naruto. After 20 years? I'm sure there will still be avid anime-watchers that will watch it. It's not the next DBZ and it won't still be popular in 2034. Of course, I could be wrong.

I doubt it. Naruto is mainstream but I don't believe it will became the epitome of anime/manga in any near future.

I say more YuYu Hakasho and Inuyasha, but on a larger scale. Naruto will be big in the anime/manga community, but it won't be DBZ level. My girlfriend knows about DBZ, but she didn't know about Naruto until she found the manga on my bookshelf.

All the anime that you mention up there is a revolutioner in the manga/anime industry they are the game changer the one who set the bar and take it to the greater ground, Naruto is not one of them.

YYH >>> . U_U Naruto isn't that big in the anime community. Most of the people in the anime community (assuming the community is made up of people who have seen other anime, not just mainstream shounen) dislike Naruto in favor of other, shorter, better shows.

If Naruto's legacy (to the general population) is only NGE-level, then Naruto is a huge failure tbh.

When I look at other shows and look at Naruto. I feel a lot of potential wasted. Naruto no doubt is a great manga, probably the best even. But it's short comings with lack of other character development remains it's biggest downfall.

Out of the three I only seen some huge change in Naruto and Sasuke. Sakura has been the same. Only time she got any development was this war arc. Naruto the manga still had many characters that it could have played with and yet it didn't. The whole story was centered around two characters, Naruto and Sasuke.

It depends on the ending to the series imo. It definitely has the potential to become an "immortal" anime I think

Part 1 had a great amount of Shikamaru,Choji,Kiba,Neji,Shino,And Lee in it,not so much in part 2 but its covered other characters well.Tobi,Obito,Madara,Nagato,Itachi,Jiraiya,come to my mind first and Sakura.

She's not the same as before.Perhaps you should Reread Sakura Vs Ino and the War wasn't the only time she developed - also reread Sakura and Chiyo Vs Sasori.she's become a strong fighter unloke before,and cares alot about Naruto.i'll go into more detail of the Brilliance of Haruno Sakura someother time
