Are Garp and Dragon really that strong?

People may find this crazy put I'd put garp on par with Marineford Whitebeard and could of beaten or tied extremely high diff whitebeard since he was sick and not at 100% U_U

As for Dragon I'd place him above Akainu and Mihawk (above admiral level fighters) but slightly below shanks and maaaaybe Kaido

Imo Marineford whitebeard wasn't the strongest man alive at that point in his life due to illness and old age. I believe that the power scheme at the time was
Shanks>Kaido>=<Dragon>Whitebeard (due to illness)=Garp>Mihawk>Sengoku (maybe)>Akainu=Aokiji>Kizaru>Marco...

I'm leaving out Big mam because she she's featless and her hype (besides being a yonkou) isn't enough for me to accurately rank her unlike Kaido who is hyped to be the strongest creature alive and have dofla scared despite dofla having an island under his control and an army

I also didn't add BB because his power was sketchy as fck after obtaining WB devils fruit cause on one hand he gained more destructive power yet on the other his speed, endurance, and overall combat abilities stayed the same plus lack of haki made him very difficult to rank. Any top tier that's faster and has better combat abilities could of probably mid diffed BB at the time even after his power high U_U

actually I think healthy old Garp = healthy old WB even though with age Garp should lose somewhat more power

and healthy old Garp > unhealthy old WB extremely high dif

my MF power scheme would go about: Dragon>Shanks>Garp>=WB=Kaido=>Akainu = Mihawk = Sengoku => Aokiji > Kizaru ....

Dragon and shanks are always a toss up for me and have been in my top 2 for a while but lately the kaido hype has putting kaido at their level for me...I just wish that oda reveals their power soon cause it's killing me just ranking them on mainly hype XD

Assuming you're saying Prime WB, I'd say:

WB = Roger > Prime Garp > = Dragon > = Shanks = Prime Rayleigh = Mihawk > = Akainu.

That's about how I see it. We have two statements about who was the strongest - "Roger and Garp nearly killed each other various times in the past/Garp cornered Roger a few times" and "Only WB could match Roger in a fight." Because the second statement is more airtight, I put WB and Roger as equals and Garp a little below them. The rest is all speculation.

I think that garp was stronger... he was almost killed roger multiple times, and roger was PK...

Was whitebeard sterile? He didn't have any actual kids that we know of, and his biggest wish was to have a family... And he called all his subordinates his Sons...

Whitebeard was said to be that of a world destroyer, Gol.D rogers had the ancient greek weapons which far exceeds that of any mere mortal if you read greek mythology.
