Kisame is underrated imo.

Someone pointed that out in a thread a few months ago. In theory, Great Shark Bomb/Missile absorbs Susano'o, but Shockwaves would destroy it. Same way 7G Gai's Hirudora did.

It didn't destroy it, it went through it and hit Kisame.

I relized kisame was underrated awhile back and campaigned to get others to see it. I can truthfully say Kisame> Itachi, he can counter ama, susanoo, genjutsu and has way more stamina plus can eat away at Itachi already low stamina.

Only the biju have power comparable to the perfect susano'o. And Kisame is effectively a biju without a tail. Need I say more? Kisame is clearly on a higher pedestal then Sasori, Kakuzu, and Deidara.

^^This, Kisame is clearly underrated in most people's eyes.

I think he can challenge people who are above bijuu level.

Samehada struggled to absorb Itachi's normal fire style, Kisame lacks the speed to stop Amaterasu, he can sacrifice Samehada but that's it.

If he merges with it, he can absorb amaterasu.
And I dont see itachi spamming amaterasu.
And amaterasu cant finish whole water dome.
His susanoo is way smaller than water dome.
So kisame just needs to stall time to kill itachhi

How is he featless? He was able to do so much in a weakened state.

Agreed, imo he had the best Akatsuki member death scene. To be fair though, the only other good ones were Itachi and Sasori...

Without Samehada, he is practically fish food.

-water dome
-can summon 1000 sharks
-massive chakra reserves (can spit out lakes at 30% chakra)
-Great Shark Bullet absorbs any ninjutsu or chakra
-monstrous strength and durability (tanked a Hirudora, afterwards broke free of yamato's wooden stocks that even 4tailed naruto couldnt break free from)
-Pushed Gai to 7th gate

Yeah. He's still high kage level without samehada.
