Should I watch Monster subbed or English dubbed? I just watched the first episode in English and it wasn't too bad at all. This show looks like it'll be a good one, based off of the premise and what I've heard about it.

I watched it in english. Simply because Gaaras voice is soothing xD and oddly fitting for the Main dude

I watched it in english. It felt more natural. Both are good but neither are great. The english actually does pronunciations of german places

From what I've heard, it's better than Death Note and anime of the like. It's 72 episodes, I think. No filler. No rape, I don't think.
It's about a very skilled doctor who decides to go against his hospital director's politics and saves a young boy instead of the mayor. That's all I'm gonna say without trying to spoil anything.

Very good. A doctor saves a boy and the boy grows up to be a killer. 70ish episodes. No filler

Yeah, definitely go with English, man. It's set in Europe, for one, so it's just more natural that way, plus Johan has to be experienced with that voice

Monster is really really good. One of my favourite anime. 74 episodes but the pacing is great. I strongly suggest you check it out. Google the summary or people above did a short synopsis too. The main villain is one of the best in anime/manga imo.
OT--> I watched it in english dub and I liked it. Haven't seen subbed so I can't compare.

Johan is infinitely more creepy in EnglishYeah, definitely go with English, man. It's set in Europe, for one, so it's just more natural that way, plus Johan has to be experienced with that voice

Dubbed, if you're able to watch a good dubbed in a language you can understand by ear you'll enjoy it more.
