Like Nagato and Obito. Your honest opinion now. Can you ever reread chapters in the past when either Nagato and Obito talk about their plans and world critic and still respect what they are saying? Or do you think they are silly since you know they will eventually get Tnjd?

Too much talk made it kinda bland. They'd have better taken action earlier than waste time blabbering.

i think the one who lacks conviction is sasuke first he wanted to kill itachi then the village, then wants to become hokage now wants to kill all the 5 kage like really whats he gonna do after he kills the 5 kage no one is gonna listen to him at least obito and nagato had a plan hmm

The best villains are the charismatic ones.

Sasuke's conviction has evolved. Nagato's and Obito's simply disappeared

Tnj is the strongest kkg that ever existed no one can escape it, so how do you expect nagato to escape it

I still like the Nagato cycle actually... knowing how it ends makes me appreciate how well the character was designed from the start whil rewatching it rather than boring me. Though ultimately he turns out not to really be a classical 'villain' so if you hoped that he would be, then I can see why you would be disappointed now.
I personally like grey characters more than those cliche good guy bad guy type of characters...

Indeed, it seems to manifest itself very strongly in Asura's reincarnations. Who knows, Iruka could be distantly related to him Lol

To be honest, none of the naruto villains have ever hit my definition of a villain. They all had some bad history or manipulation to cause them to act a certain way, basically puppets of the system. I like a villain who does whatever because they feel like it, and no form of TNJ will change them.

So do you like villains like General Zod then? I think this is pretty subjective a villain needs to fit into the story.

No but when you read those parts again you know that they will be TnJd, so those moments don't feel as good anymore imo
Yeah but you conclude that at the very end. Even Obito was about to choke naruto but latter pulled rin ginjutsu on him U_U in same chapter.
