About Sasuke's Chibaku Tensei

It was quite badass.Sasuke was able to cast it with just a glance,even six paths was surprised.Anyways what i was wondering was would he have manged to hold the bijuu in the chibaku tensei if had not genjutsu paralyzed them?Pain was barely able to hold in the nine tails that too when it was not in full control.If the tailed beasts were in control they would be raining tailed beast balls right now..
So back to the question,

Would Sasuke have managed to hold the bijuu in the chibaku tensei if had not genjutsu paralyzed them?

I would not use the Kaguya argument here because i think Nardo's and Sasky's seal sealed her power first hand(SEE he rinnegan getting eclipsed) and then the chibaku tensei happened..

But I kinda speculate that was only possible because they are pure chakra, so instead of having to make a chakra/gravity orb, he could just use them.

But as of now with the info we have, it works on naruto.

the bijuus are easy to put under genjutsu and the rinnegan is the most powerful dojutsu.

the reason why nagatos chibaku tensei failed was because of naruto. remember it was sealed in naruto then

For a proper chibaku tensei the opponent is immobilized first. If the kyuubi was 100% active when Pein used CT then it was would have just shot a TBB to destroy the core. As to whether Sasuke's CT would have worked without it....probably not. These are the nine bijuu after all

He still ran from sasuke.

And after he got his other rinnegan and used chibaku tensei sasuke was cutting them up.
And when he used infinite tsukuyomi he blocked it.
