Gara can fly with his sand out of sakura's attack range ,then attack her with his big amounts of sand ,capture her and bury her 200 m under ground
I don't see her avoid gara's big amounts of sand which was able to catch even v2 CM kimimaru and Lee himself said that avoiding all this sand is nearly impossible
Gara who fought kimimaru is way stronger than gara who fought sasuke ,Lee and naruto ,he could mix his sand with metals from under ground to make his sand much more unbreakable and stronger
Katsuya won't help sakura against gara as he can fly and can bury her too 200 m under ground
Gara most likely reached his prime in the fight with kimimaru and he didn't show any thing new in part 2

Whatever sakura is so strong and she easily as strong as tusonade but even tusonade will lose to part 1 gara ,though if gara used his shukaku mode ,he would lose this as sakura can summon katsuya ,get close to sleeping gara and then destroy him
