Gai versus Jiraiya

IDK... Once Jman enters SM its gg. Secret Frog Barrier ends him, but the question would be does a ninja Like Gai allow him to enter SM. Plus the Fact Gai never enters &th Gate unless he has to, and with Base Jman he wouldn't have to. Allot of things to consider. But once SM is on, things get's real-real quick! haha

What's the secret frog barrier and how does it finish Gai?

True, base Jiraiya wouldn't be pushing Gai anything past the lower stages of the gates at the absolute best; assuming no boss summons are involved. But the fight would have to escalate somehow, and Gai can enter the 7G much faster then Jiraiya can enter SM.... so I don't see how Jiraiya stands a chance. Even if he does, how does SM Jiraiya contest with 7G speed?

Jiraiya can just hide in his toad barrier then use a transformation jutsu to turn the toad into a rock or something. Since Gai doesn't have sensing abilities he won't be able to find him. In the safety of the toad's mouth, he has all the time he needs to enter SM or prep his genjutsu.

As for your question about the toad barrier: it's a barrier ninjutsu which sort of allows Jiraiya to shrink himself inside a toad's mouth. On my phone so I can't provide scans, but he escaped into his barrier in the Pain fight just before his death. Although it's not an attack so idk why Draegod said the barrier would kill Gai...

I'm assuming that Jiraiya will summon boss toads or use kage bunshins to distract Gai while Jiraiya himself enters the smaller toad's mouth.

Yeah but that's the thing, he can wipe the summons out with Hirudora.

If Kisame could tank Hirudora, then so can Gamabunta. Not to mention by the time Gai opens the 7th gate and hirudora's bunta, Jiraiya is inside a frog and used a transformation jutsu to turn it into a rock. Besides, Gai can't use multiple Hirudoras whereas Jiraiya can summon multiple toads.

Fail. If Hirudora could destroy Susanoo, then it would finish off Gamabunta with no question. Gamabunta was completely knocked out after Shinra tensei and he's going to tank Hirudora?? Lol.

Lol what?? The gates can be opened instantly. I'd love to know where the frog's gonna be when Hirudora's wiping the others out . As if it won't be caught in its range as well. The toad he's going to be in would have to remove the cover in its mouth for Jiraiya to go in and also for Jiraiya to come out

, he used Hirudora, multiple EE which is far more taxing(with broken ribs) and NM. Hirudora can be used more than 3 times at the very least with no problem even though one is more than enough for the toads.

The acid from the lake and the environment alone kills almost all ninja shown! Once you enter the barrier you're transported one could say to a pool of acid. I'm on my phone so I can't go into detail.

Guy wins both scenarios. He goes into 6th Gate in the first scenario, avoids the toads, and blitzes Jiraiya with Morning Peacock, and would go for a blitz as soon as possible in the second. It takes almost no time for him to enter the 5th/6th Gate, so I really don't see Jiraiya being able to keep his distance.

Jiraiya can take both scenarios. Gai isn't going to let Jiraiya enter SM, he's just too quick. Jiraiya however has a huge arsenal at his disposal and is much more experienced that Gai is. Whereas Gai's strategy of attack is straightforward and full intel can be used better in that case by Jiraiya, J-man's strategy of attack is much more elusive, (KB, hiding in a toad, shadow manipulation, can distract with summonings) with which Gai even with full intel will have a hard time figuring out.

As stated before all Jiraiya needs to do is either evade (via numerous techs stated above) and use toad mouth trap. Or just evade and let Gai tire himself out.

Hate to say it, but Gai isn't that smart. Jiraiya mid-high diff.
