Deva used CST from the center of Konoha so of course he has to use it in all directions, so that the village will be destroyed and since the other paths were in the village, they had to fall back. Deva doesn't need to use CST in all directions here.

I was explaining why that Human path argument is invalid. L0l you realize if CST happen Itachi will fly meters away and crash into something so please tell me how is Pain going to get to him before he regenerate. Not to mention the paths fall down when he uses CST once Itachi see the paths fall Amaterasu to the face.

@Red- Until he's Totsuka blitzed if he thinks about getting in absorbing range of Susanoo. @GREEN- Susanoo tanks with ease. @BLUE- Any summoning is one shotted via Amaterasu Cerberus is a hude target for Totsuka. @YELLOW- Clearly didn't read restrictions.

If he shoots him towards the ground, the no, he won't be going anywhere. The force applied will just smash his Susanoo allowing Pain to pierce him with the black rods while he regenerates, so forget about Amaterasu. The pain bodies would recover before Itachi did anyway, allowing them to finish Itachi.

Though the black rods work just as efficiently.

False yet again. You fail to realize that as a core it has to withstand the force of all the rocks being slammed into it, via its already incredibly strong gravity. By default the core is more durable than the body and thus more durable than the Matanagma.

I think Itachi can take this even if Pein can use CT. People always ask how could Itachi destroy it without Bee and Naruto. Well there is no proof as to how much it takes to destroy it. Edo Itachi can spam Yasaka Magatama.

As for the other Paths...Animal Path is no big deal, Amaterasu takes it off. Another Amaterasu or Susanoo can crush Human, Naraka and Asura Paths. Preta is vulnerable to taijutsu. Shinra Tensei can be withstood.

And they may all be caught in genjutsu.

This is how it's not going to be possible for pein to use and time CST and ct ct takes prem time and CST kills rest of the pein and if he dosent that means he can't use the full power he ain't killing itachi's with rods itachi's faster and smarter itachi can amaterasu most of the Paths and spam deva path with Amaterasu in 5 sec interval and it's a win win for itachi
