if you still like him good for you that's fine we all have our own opinions mine however differs. I don't like him anymore because hes not the same person he used to be.... its more like he was replaced by a person that looks just like him.

I liked part 1 naruto because..

1. worked hard for what he had. I liked the fact that naruto had to work hard for what he has and it was just like oh hey this is how you do it *tries a few times* mkay I haven't mastered it yet but im better at it than anyone ever and no neg consequences. if you didn't know what I was talking about its sm one of the few things he worked for in shippuden... he mastered it in like 2 days when not even minato and jman could master it in years... not only that but he apparently didn't fully master it because in the war arc his sm is devastating and possibly could've beaten pain (im talking about pre hago power up for those that have bad memory)

2. actually had to use tactics and strategy. although naruto isn't the smartest guy his plans were good and I enjoyed them panning out in shippuden he just relies on brute force 90% of the time though there are a few moments where he uses tactics.

3. he was funny. pt 1 naruto was funny even when he wasn't trying to be.. pt2 naruto is corny and dry most of the time.

why I don't like pt 2 naruto(the character)

1. he is dumb. part 2 naruto is a complete airhead and that's a slap to the face to all the training and intelligence naruto has. example when naruto was waving at kurama this chap(it made me smirk a little)? that was kishi trying to make a funny moment by completely downplaying narutos intelligence. another example bm naruto forgetting juubito could cancel jutsu and only senjutsu could hit him right after him being told.

2. child of prophecy/destiny. this threw narutos hardwork right out the window. cant beat this guy? screw tactics ill give ya a power up and turn your enemy into a retard. it makes all the dreams and ideals naruto saw bull because we know everything is going to go his way no matter what.

3. sasuke dck riding. 60% of shippuden is naruto chasing sasuke like he stole his virginity and got him pregnant. how can you be so dependent on a guy you barely know, hates you, tried to kill you three times, and still wants you dead. not only that he pulled a if I cant have you no one can and was ready to kill him and himself. pt2 naruto is a STALKER.

I liked Part 1 Naruto more than Part 2 Naruto.
But I started to dislike Part 1 Naruto when he started to ride Sasuke's D.[SUB]

I liked him in early/mid part 1 more, but I also like the philosophical side to Naruto we see at times now too.

Summary: Part 2 Naruto is a dumb stalker. Nice observation

Naruto learned the multi kage bunshin pretty easily in part 1
And I don't agree that naruto barely uses tactics in part 2

Well for a change this is a pretty good and well presented opinion.
Great you gave some logical and sensible reasons.

kagebunshin is a basic technique and naruto already knew how to do it he just sucked at chakra control for it.. and even then he didn't master it cause he spent all his chakra doing it.

Part 1 Naruto was pretty cool and definitely funny, I didn't like him much in Part 2 but when he became a Sage he was pretty awesome. Then the nine tails modes ruined his character for me, he became too hax and of course the coolest guy.

If you're aware that part 2 Naruto isn't funny but just trying to be, why do you take his 'dumb moments' seriously, if you know they're just bad jokes and he's not actually dumb?

Number 3 of part 2 is the only thing I agree with. Also, it takes hard work to become the child of prophecy. If anything, you should respect him more because he has such a boulder on his back, and has to constantly work to get stronger. You think just because he was destined for something, that makes it easier?

Nonsense op.

Cool story, tell me more about how Naruto wasn't the child of destiny in part 1.

Naruto isn't Minato or Jiraiya, so the amount of time it takes him to master something shouldn't be compared to them. For example, his mastering Rasengan in a week despite Minato taking years?

He has used tactics and strategies enough times.

Him being the child of prophecy doesn't nullify his hard work. "A path is something you create as you walk it. The ground you’ve trodden hardens, and that’s what forms your path. You’re the only one who can create your own path. Walk on your own."

Sasuke is presumably his best friend, and almost like a brother to him, so it shouldn't be surprising that he would go to the ends of the earth to save him. I'd do the same for someone I considered my best friend too.

It is your opinion though, so I won't look down on you.

I don't take the jokes seriously I was just using them as an example to prove how stupid he is because its not actually a joke.

he was destined for greatness no matter what what has happened would happen anyway. if naruto decided not to train anymore after becoming a ninja he would still be fine even if he got killed doesn't matter hagoromo will turn him into a god.
