Idk about this. Izanagi can be activated at death and brings the caster back to whatever point they wish. It rewrites fact with fantasy. Nowhere does it state that the person is brought back to the point in which it was activated. You cant compare madara's izanagi to danzo's izanagi since danzo wasn't a pure uchiha.

Itachi explained how Izanagi works. There are no different types of Izanagi. It is one jutsu. Time set is different deal since it can apparently applied to any MS technique as we seen with Amaterasu and Izanagi.

I think that Madara lost his rinnegan => his eyes turned into original sharingan => one of his eyes is absent due to izinagi he used before. As simple as it is

Kakashi said Bayakugan came from Sharingan but he knew little of the tales and thought Sage was a myth.

Kakashi did mention de byakugan while telling about his sharingan and what kind of dojutsu it is BUT...., he DIDN'T say the byakugan being from the sharingan but mentioned the byakugan being the strongest eyes among both.. Hizashi Hyuga also mentioned the Hyuga being Konoha's strongest and considering hagoromo having rinnegan or sharingan cuz rinnegan needs both ashura's and indra's chakra and Indra only got sharingan.

Don't think he lost his rinnegan, after all he obtained them in life but handling rinnegan costs loadsa chakra, so my guess is the rinnegan just faded away.. Obito could only wield one and Nagato both cuz he is uzumaki but as Obito explained to sakura, only the original owner could use them in full... Madara doing izanagi could be.. maybe inazami for what ever reason??

Here's one more takeaway...

The "S06P", or あの男, which I now believe is either not the true Sage or possibly Hamura. Or that the Sage is evil.... What did he do?

-Summoned Madara
-Summoned Naruto + Sauce back
-Took his chakra and crescent seal back.
-Let Madara die. Forced Madara to die.
-Sent the Hokage back.

Notice what's not in there? He didn't stop the Shinju tree? Does this even remotely seem like a "Saviour" of humanity to you guys? Sage seems remarkably unconcerned with the fact th eentire human race is minutes away from being made zetsu.

I like the logic behind your theory. The only thing I have to doubt on is the fallacy of SO6P being a god. This is only hype that was raised due the folklore inside the manga, that speaks about how people revered the legendary entity.

But there is a huge difference between people seeing him as a god, and being a god, actually.

Anyways, I don't discard the possibility. I mean, there isn't proof against the possibility of a plotwist.

The ones who shit on Madara the most are Madara's fans. Don't respect the character enough to let it get some development and you want him to stay stupid all his life.

He's had the tentails ripped from him so Izanagi cannot save him. Already something he had within him and ripped BEFORE he used Izanagi.

The silly split theory won't work because his upper half had the entire 9 beasts ripped from him so that means the legs lack the power of the tentails and he would be useless.

Just accept the truth and let Madara get SOME depth.
