Agreed. She is basically in the story as potentially being Naruto's *** toy. That's all. She has no good characteristics and her whole character revolves aroun "Naruto-kun". Sakura is definitely the better character of the two.

Yup. Hinata's entire character revolves around Naruto-kun.

Not the burden of having an entire prodigious legacy resting on her shoulders that she must live up to or she'll be deemed a failure. Not the constant impending fear of being neglected and disowned by her father. Not one of the symbols of someone overcoming their apparent destiny. Not one of the ways of Kishi showing Neji was wrong, which led to Neji's character development.

The same way Naruto's character revolves around ramen, Sakura's around her forehead, Jiraiya around women, Sasuke around not liking sweets, Kakashi around Jiraiya's novel series, and Tsunade around blonde hair.

I wouldn't necessarily say Hinata is a bad character. Kishi set up a lot of potential, a good story with room for development and good writing, and wasted it. To me, Hinata is one of the character's that was a firework that could have been a splendid explosion, but was turned into a dud instead.
