No, every Leaf Jonin needs to learn at least two (not too sure, but more than one for sure) elements.

That's impossible for him to actually learn a chakra type. You are born with specific chakra nature. If sharingan gave people chakra types then Itachi and Sasuke would know all of them. But each of them only know 2. If Kakashi could learn all the chakra types why would he stop at 3 and not go for all 5?

All the sharigan did was allow him to learn new techs that aligned with his already known chakra natures. That's why he never learned wind techs or fire techs in the Manga
