[Discussion] Uchiha Sasuke!

First, I would like to tell all the precious guests of this thread that I am not a Sasuke fan at all. I dislike his character because I think a human being cannot behave the way he behaves. However, for this very reason, I pay also attention to his character to see what Kishi has planned form him. This is because I believe Kishi is an amazing graphic novelist who unlike many manga I have read so far, made Naruto a series to which families, races, nations can relates. In fact, the reasons naruto is popular is because every pair of Naruto-Sasuke fanboys act exactly like two rival brothers trying to impress each other.

This being said, chapter 691 was emotionally amazing for me, not because Naruto had a touching discussion with his father, but because Sasuke was left alone without any attachment wondering what going on and trying to be himself. I fell really a feeling of mercy for him. I mean at this point, he was really the complete opposite of Naruto for two reasons:

(1) Sasuke had a sweet childhood while Naruto had a bitter one. Sasuke lost that sweetness while naruto is experiencing the same sweetness Sasuke once knew. Could Sasuke now say the same thing he told Naruto at VOTE - that is that Naruto does not know any parental bound or love.

(2) We have many people around that naruto has befriended, and Sasuke is still a loner. How is he thinking, and what is he thinking. Will Sasuke grow up and stand for himself for betterness, or will create a new feeling on his own without BZ.

Finally, this is a wall of text, but I hope you understand me. Will Sasuke turn around before it is too late like madara. Did anyone notice how Madara was the same during his talk to Hashirama? It was really a lesson of life. No one can succeed alone, but dive into darkness.

A bash thread in disguise? You could have done without the first few lines. Anyhow, I don't think he was comparing himself to Madara even unconsciously. It was more of a remorse for a fallen man who gave up everything and everyone gave up on him, yet his dream and ideology remained unfulfilled.

It's called human fear. Something in Classic Tragedy that opened the door for Catharsis. I disagree with all of the thread, as this is a purely subjective matter, because Sasuke didn't look rueful until Madara didn't start succumbing to his death.

I didn't want to bring this into the thread to give OP a reality check, but no man with an IQ above 50 would behave like Naruto.

The problem with this kind of argument is that most of you who defend it ignore completely the manga. see for yourself:

(1) You ignore that Naruto was hated by everyone, and he learned the feeling that those who are hurt like him can have. he knows that if such people have power, they can be very dangerous not because they bad, but because they are overcome by hurts and hatred caused by society. See, before they go on rampage, they were innocent who became victims for no reason.

(2) You ignore that Naruto worked very hard to make Obito change his mind. You ignore the battle of will they both fight, and how their wills clashed. This is why you want Naruto to kill Obito after Obito has given on his ideal, and become lonely without any purpose. If you had understood the whole purpose of the manga, then, you would have understood that Naruto had to shed some tear for Obito because Obito end up being a precious person he saved from the darkness.

Well killing is one thing but calling him the best is definetely an exaggeration no matter how you see it.

I never said i wanted Naruto to kill obito, i'm just saying Naruto has mannyyyy non human behaviors, if you say that about sasuke, you can say the same for Naruto.

Naruto was acting like Obito was his bestfriend or a family member, he barely even knows obito and he's getting all emotinal and defending him, which makes no sense after everything he's done

Really? So if you had your whole family killed wouldn't you want revenge? Or even something way less seroius - If someone hits you,wouldn't you want to hit them back?


At 7/8 Sasuke saw his own brother kill their parents in front of him and saw their whole family killed by him,then for years he lived alone.Remember the Uchiha clan was section off from the village too. Naruto didn't have a sadder past.He didn't have a family to love and then lose them - see them all die at the hands of his own brother who he was the closest too.Itachi killed their parents in front of him then used the MS to show him killing all their other family members - then at 13 Itachi put Sasuke in a Tsukuyomi that lasted 72 hours of him killer their family.That replayed in Sasuke's mind for 3 days.

Not only was Sasuke lonely like Naruto but he knew what it was like to have a family and lose it Naruto didn't.Infact Naruto was friends with Shikamaru,Kiba,andChoji when they were 7/8.
