A hundred meters before Temari can cut them apart like she did the third Raikage, a man who's durability (even in base,) was said to be higher than normal?

if the distance were a regular thirty or shorter Temari would lose. But it's a hand picked match for her.

Well if Asuma has knowledge on the jutsu, it would work, unfortunately he does not. Once it starts coming, he'll be forced to do something but it will be too late. He won't randomly start spitting out the smoke in anticipation of KKM from the get go. You do realize there are a large number of tree logs that will be heading to Asuma's direction before Kamatari manages to reach him? This allows those trees to block Asuma's ninjutsu, allowing the weasel itself to finish things off. That fuuton jutsu would have to be stronger than KKM which I seriously doubt given its feats and hype compared to Asuma's wind dust cloud.

Its difficult to make a picture about the begin, so when the battle starts temari will fast take her fan, swing it up, cut her finger, (doing hand seals ??), put blood on the fan and swing it in the direction of where she would assume the enemy is, but tayuya has intel and right to begin she would tell it fast ( in naruto every one can talking fast even in the most difficult situations )
So lets say the fact tayuya knows the jutsu, the team knows it also right off the bat.

100 meters is not really that far, a ninja like asuma with a 4.5 in speed ( Databook) should be able to close the distance right to begin to 50-60 meters while preforming the explosive katon dust jutsu, he would be able to see temari even if he is 100 meters away, the trees are shifted so there is room to look past the trees right to begin.

I don't see temari using the jutsu directly after the start signal, firstly she will make a fast overview and than come to conclusion that her only chance is to use Kirri kirri mai. In that time the intel was shared and asuma, aware of the dangerous threat, sprints in the direction of temari preforming the the fire style jutsu and than its not clear whether he is able to lit the dust before the weasel reaches him or he will success and the weasel flying straight in to the explosion...

this is a faster way to block temaris wind, the dust stream moves fast and has a straight direction, with this he could be more precise and faster ( I'm sure he is able to light the dust contained in the fuuton stream, so it would be a fuuton Katon Dust combination)

Not to forget, tayuya and kurenai won't stay in the near of Asuma, they would disperse them in 2 different directions to get out of the radius, but they would be hit badly if asuma would fail on the battlefront.

Thats why i say it could go either way.

Who's to say Kunerai range can't attend 100 milimeter, temari just needs to be in sight

Temari will take note that Tayuya is sharing intel and use this opportunity to finish them off. Asuma will have to fend off dozens of tree logs before Kamatari even approaches him hence Tayuya was crushed by tree logs and not cut in half. A smoke cloud isn't protecting him from that.

First off I don't see how the dust stream is particularly fast when Ino was able to shunshin all the way to Chouji and then carry him to safety (
