Obito and Itachi situation

well i've heard so many Itachi fanboys say that Obito was afraid of Itachi (not that i care what they say but just curious)
I have a simple question for ya

why didn't Itachi kill Obito?

Itachi knew that Obito was gathering bijuus, and it wasn't for a big birthday party, Obito was planning to fk the world and Itachi knew about it but still he didn't kill Obito.

The so called peace lover could've prevented this war and the lives of half the shinobi world. Even Hashi said that as a hokage he would've killed his siblings if they tried to harm the ppl.

Itachi was said to have the thinking of a hokage at the age of 7 but still he couldn't tell that killing Obito was far more important for the ninja world than babysitting his brother. LMAO.

The simle answer is that Itachi knew he couldn't beat Obito so he made the best of his situation and tried to save sasuke from going to dark side.

And as far as Obito being scared? lolz he took on the whole world alone when he declared War and went up to a juubi jin(Madara), put his hand in him and told him to fk off.

Obito was never afraid of death, even as a kid he sacrificed himself to save Kakashi and then again as an adult he saved both Kakashi and Naruto even when he had a choice.

A person who does not fear death, does not fear anything. so i don't know where ppl get the idea of Obito being scared. Being cautious is one thing and is a smart move but not scared.

If Itachi actually posed a threat to Obito in his completion of IT, Obito would've faced him in battle without a doubt.

itachi is a pacifist! The biggest reason of all is plot-no-jutsu. But then again, Itachi was looking at the bigger picture. I think he know about black zetsu and white zetsu. He saw that Obito is just a product of the pain caused in the world.

We don't know all the shit that went down during itachi's years in the Akatsuki. We will have to wait til next year or year after to see unseen story of itachi life after the village.

I'm pretty sure that Obito would win in a fight, just because he can spam kamui. And that's a hax technique.

However, I don't think Itachi would have taken out Obito even if he could have done so easily. Mainly because, he is a pacifist as mentioned before. He's only killed when he absolutely had to or to keep up his cover. He doesn't kill unless you are a direct threat at that moment (so, he set up that ama for Sasuke, becuase that would be the only time Obito was a direct threat). He even had the chance to kill Kabuto and stated that he hated him, but didn't because he wanted to get him on the right path before he'd die. There was no need, but he did it anyway.

Itachi could have killed the other Akatsuki members below Nagato and Obito, but he didn't. He probably knew that it wouldn't help. Mainly because, they were already being hunted by other nations, so they were done eventually anyway. He's a pacifist. And, he tends to wish for people to find themselves (since he couldn't until after death), killing them (no matter who they are) would be against that.

That's just Itachi's nature. It's good in some ways and bad in others. Kishimoto even wrote that this was one of his weaknesses. He's not the "perfect" shinobi because he still has the capacity to feel pity and a ninja isn't supposed to, they're supposed to cut off all emotions and not care at all. If Itachi was 100% the perfect shinobi, he would have killed Sasuke and the other Akatsuki members through an elaborate plan. Then, go after every nukenin he could find in the Bingo Book. But, he didn't. The world might have been safer, yes. However, there's not alot of merit in that. Mainly because it would have dehumanized his character. Him being peaceful humanizes him and teaches the lesson that no matter who you are, you still have flaws but can try your best to improve or work with that.

yup. Beside, you're asking for itachi to kill Obito to end the whole naruto storyline. Why would you want that? If itachi kill obito, all you folks wouldn't be able to say DOUBLE KAMUI > EVERYTHING right now. So you should be thanking itachi for not soling the whole naruto's storyline!

LOL, do u see ppl going to the Naruto vs forums and saying its not fair cuz Naruto has Kyuubi inside him? and this is not a VS thread, i'm just trying to figure out why ppl would think that Obito is afraid of Itachi, when Obito never feared death.
Even if Itachi was capable of killing Obito, it wouldn't matter to Obito....he's not afraid of dying.
