I like your theory and its true that obito was always unpleasant with itachi's presence! An it has been stated couple of times!
@ bold But i have to disagree with you here! When itachi and kakashi fought for the first time in part one this is what itachi said to kakashi ~ "There is a reason why we are the True masters of the Sharingan"

And that same blood is Uchiha Sasuke. Only person to defeat the Tsukuyomi is sasuke these are Itachi's own words also. Also Itachi Counters Kamui with Tsukuyomi. No wonder itachi was an eye sore for obito!
Itachi had never lost a fight and never had any intention to kill. So therefore all these X > itachi threads are pointless because we have not once seen itachi fight with the intention to kill. So itachi is the solo king! So stop the madness folks! Just accept it and move on.

I hate debating with people who don't even read the manga correctly. That's why this conversation ends here. It is a literal fact that Itachi did not know about Kamui. Let me interrupt here. Itachi knew about kamui but not all its secrets! Kamui is not the problem here the real problem was hashirama's dna which saved obito when sasuke used Amaterasu on obito. If i am right it was on the right side. The very side where the dna is placed. That is the very thing obito told sasuke that itachi doesn't know all my secrets if he did i would have been dead!
@ VariaBossX Obito officially became a akatsuki member after sasori's death! So logically he was paired with deidara and itachi was already paired with kisame! two teams were always distant from one another and only showed up in holographic forms when Nagato summoned them for something important! Konan could figure out bcos she was close to nagato and was analyzing obito's abilities from the very start of Akatsuki!

I consider Obito to have been cautious of Itachi (a thorn by his side) the same.way I considered Itachi to have been cautious of Obito.
Not to mention, the pact between Obito and Itachi seemed a bit one-sided in the sense that Kurama needed to be sealed last either way. Itachi making that pact to prevent him from attacking Konoha again thinking he was Madara and still had a grudge.
I still wonder why Obito attacked Konoha in the first place.

Yes man its Itachi were are talking about and that is the very reason itachi places amaterasu on sasuke's left eye. To ensure when obito will show him his right amaterasu will be activated and he will burn cos you can't pass through amaterasu! But itachi did not know this that very side is completely made of hashi's dna!

Yeah, he used Izanagi. That's the 'secret' he kept hidden from Itachi. Seems Itachi knew about it (During the Kabuto Fight) but didn't know Obito had it.
