My first ever anime drawing!

Hey, guys! Just wanted to post my first ever anime drawing. I know it isn't that good and that a few lines are a bit derpy. What do you think?

Thanks! I made quite a lot of mistakes. Shading is practically my enemy, and so are straight lines. I don't use a ruler, just because I'm trying to get into the habit of being able to make straight lines from just skill. I thought the neck upwards was really good. As it got lower, the quality worsened. Oh, well XD

Don't worry, proportions have always been the hardest thing for me too. I recommend drawing copy's of anime pictures (not tracing) as this will help you understand the proportions better. Usually everything you draw will have different proportions, so it gets tricky.

I've heard everyone was fine with the shading. Weird, I thought it was really bad. I'll be sure to work on proportioning better. I'm not the best at it :/

I always thought animes had weird proportions anyway XD.
Can I ask what exactly is wrong with the proportions? Specifically about the face? I thought the head looks quite normal, bar the fact that's it's straight when it should be leaning. It just seems like, compared to the rest of the body, it's pretty normal sized.
