That's the point. How did Hagoromo become the Jinchuuriki, yet they sealed Kaguya when they are part of each other? In other words, they apparently sealed the Juubi inside Hagoromo, yet Kaguya was still free, but when they sealed Kaguya it was the Gudou Mazou, but yet the Bijuu are still yet to be made as he did that in old age? Yet here it shows Kaguya, or "the Juubi" being sealed by both sons, and young at that. It's a mess of illogicality.

Well, being as she's basically a god, I'd imagine they split her soul, the part that was mainly chakra (the Shinju half, for all intents and purposes) was taken by Hagoromo, (he died of old age years later, the manga never said how old he was when he fought Kaguya) and the part that was Kaguya herself, her physical body, was divided and put into the Gedo Mazou and sealed in the moon (May be the other way around, but that's my take on it).

That would make sense, but they apparently didn't know she was the Juubi, or so it seems. The "parallel" with Naruto and Sasuke is when she was sealed by Hagoromo and Hamura, I think, well that's how it seems. It's not all that clearly explained though. I don't think it ever will either, we probably shouldn't be "reading" too far into it.

Actually, maybe that was Kaguya's soul and not his, then? Either way, that scene contradicts the manga, where it says the age do statue was already sealed in the moon.

we were told he created the moon on his deathbed but if the moon was created the same day hago became the jin then it doesnt make sense

If this is truly the end, then this is definitely the worst pointless Arc and the biggest anticlimatic and most Cliche ending I;ve read in Shonen History and if you think it's the best ending then you must be a very sloppy horrible reader if you truly think this is the end. It's as NaruSasuRival say, Only Good Readers Could Notice that the villain is still lurking around, Kishi can't possibly ended off without having Good Plot twist. So much shit that needs to explain
