Thats why Akainu is the best...a true villan is hated by everybody,just badass and destroys anything that gets in the way

Except the hate from Akainu is the actions he's taken as an antagonist. Not for his horrible fall from poise and his questionable motives.

Actually he didn't considering Sakazuki got right back up afterwards and was going solo against all the WB division leaders, Crocodile, and a few New World captains.



OT: I don't know if I consider Akainu a villain. He's an antagonist, but I don't think villain describes him.

Certainly as an antagonist he or Orochimaru take the cake in that department.

Then again, BB is also good.

Akainu was still able to fight back despite WB's rage & "sneak-attack". Admirals are very underestimated when compared to Yonko's.

OT: Personally, Crocodile & Doflamingo are the best villains because they're much more developed than Akainu. Once we get to the final arc, my opinion would change because I'm sure Oda would develop his character.

Crocodile, Rob Lucci and Doflamingo are better characters than Akainu so far. And the word you're thinking of is antagonist. Akainu is technically an anti-hero. It's messed up, but an anti-hero is anyone who does questionable actions not typical for a hero for a righteous or good endgame. Akainu takes out weaknesses and threats towards peace and protection of the world. If Batman killed, Akainu would be just like him, they indiscriminately take out the bad guys.

Edit: Eh, apparently anti-villain is what Akainu is.

Not much is known about him, his depth as a character is still not majorly developed, but even so, I really find him interesting, he's a badarse fo sure!

Nagato was a great character. The only flaw he had really was how he was defeated.
