Is the manga coming on Friday or Monday ??

The Viz weekly release is really what we have to depend on now. Japan doesn't want people to pay for the manga chapters (From what i've been reading here?) They just want the Americans to read the chapter the Same day Japan readers do which is Four days after the raws are translated.
Japanese manga stores usually get the weekly jump on Wednesday, but they are allowed to sell it four-five days late which is monday, but American manga sites usually get the raws translated 4-5 days before Japan can actually sell it.
Nothing will change only the day which we read the chapters.

@bold: This is more along the lines of what I think is gonna happen too. I didn't know about the rest of what you said but I never thought this whole piracy scare would be a real issue for NB. People just stressing for nothing.

To put it simply.

We read Chapters earlier Than Japan.

Jap Stores get Weekly SJ on Wednesday

Somebody scans the whole SJ and puts it online for people to translate.

Japan gets angry because they allow Japanese to read it on monday.

They halt the shipping trucks until the release date of Weekly SJ, in order to reduce the translations for the raws. Pretty much to get the people who are desperate for the chapter to pay Viz to read it a day early.

So yeah it's just a scare for no reason. Think of it like a schedule change.

Official Viz is Monday. :| I doubt there will be earlies anymore at all. So, between Monday-Wednesday. Most-likely Mondays will be the new norm.

The official chapter comes out on Monday so my guess is that we will get the illegal version sometime this weekend (assuming translation groups such as MP and MS will receive the raws before Monday). This week is the only week where we have to wait a couple more days to receive the chapter. After that, it's the same business - chapters comes out every week but on a different day.
