Intel: Kabuto knows what the mist jutsu is. Zabuza has 0 intel.

Restrictions: None.

Conditions: Kabuto has food pills, but does not start the fight with one already swallowed. Kabuto has to fight and kill Zabuza. Haku is not near by, so these two don't have to hold back.

I seriously doubt a jonin of considerable skill and strenght would fall for such a cheap trick.

OT: Most likely Zabuza.
Unlike Kakashi, Kabuto doesn't have a method to track Zabuza nor can he resist blind attacks coming anytime from anywhere. He's the superior shinobi, but here he loses.

Edit: Unless he plays possum and strikes when Zabuza turns his back. If he could regenerate from a Rasengan i'm pretty sure can heal from

Why do you call him an elite jonin when he was killed by fodder. An elite jonin would be somebody more close to beginning of shippuden Sasukes power who can solo 1000 jonin without trying. Proof 100% of the ninja there broke it? Infact there are ninja with headbands that fell for it.

Shikamaru and Gai don't have considerable genjutsu skills either and broke out of it just fine. That's the point i'm trying to make. Not a single Jonin or Special Jonin fell for that genjutsu. Why would Zabuza be different?
Also, how is Kabuto casting a genjutsu on Zabuza if he doesn't know about his whereabouts?

They're not considerable, but they're higher than Zabuzas. Zabuza is different because he has horrible genjutsu. Just because people are sof similar rank doesnt mean they are capable of the same thing. Hell Naruto beat a chuunin before he even became a genin. Mizuki isnt capable of half the stuff Naruto's class did. If jonin were capable of the same thing, then Zabuza wouldnt have to do 40 handsigns just to do a b ranked water jutsu. Nothing is elite about him.

Kabuto is also an elite jounin. Um, Sakura and Shikamaru were able to counter it because they are intelligent, unlike Zabuza.

I think Kabuto wins with mid-high difficulty.

The manga made pretty clear Zabuza is a high level shinobi. Denying what was established doesn't make your claims true. He was armless, wounded and tired of fighting Kakashi. Still had enough strenght to pass through dozens of men, killed many of them with a single kunai in his mouth, until he achieved his goal and decapitated the leader, then got impaled multiple times in the back and was still alive.
You're in denial and/or have selective memory if you think those fodders defeated a Jonin in a fair fight and there's nothing impressive about Zabuza.

Uhh no. He had a 3. Databook 2 stats are the ones being used. You can tell this by Sasukes training with Kakashi, the results of his training, and his stats.

No it didnt. Unless you go off of hype and titles and ignore feats which is what you're doing. Rank has nothing to do with how elite somebody is. Look at the Naruto. 2nd stronger character right now, but hes still a genin. When he was an academy student he beat a chuunin. Genin Neji, Naruto, Lee, Gaara, and Sasuke could all beat chuunin shikamaru. In fact genin Sasuke was stated to be chuunin level himself. Naruto basically solod an A(Jonin) ranked mission, etc. Titles and rank dont mean anything. Being one of the 7 swordsmen means nothing when none of them can beat anybody worth a damn except Kisame. The gap between them and Kisame is huge though. I know this not because of titles and other meaningless crap, but his feats. Kabuto revived him because he needed all the help he could get. Anybody better than a zetsu fodder would be a great addition to the team.

I will admit I forgot he was armless, nonetheless he still is not an impressive ninja. Taking 40 handsigns do a jutsu, getting toyed around with by part 1 Kakashi, being weaker than all serious villain ninja that come after him. No he is not impressive. The strongest ninja of part 1 are Itachi, Jiraiya, Kimimaro, Orochimaru, and Kakashi.
