Friends. If you say HIMYM, you haven't seen friends. Not saying HIMYM is all bad, in fact it was really good in the first couple of seasons but the last couple of seasons were so shit.

Not to mention, himym copied loads of elements from friends.

As much as I enjoyed HIMYM, I'm going to say Friends. Friends is really the sitcom that kinda launched the other sitcoms (correct me if I'm wrong).

Friends is like the DBZ of sitcoms. Most sitcoms take a few ideas from friends. At least, this is how I see it.
