Tobirama letting a jutsu like that exist isn't very smart.He may be a genius but that was a dumb moment on his part,like the suggestion of reviving Madara again.

You making no sense , it's like saying why did people create weapons if it will kill them one day? And also it wasn't completely bad cause without it the hokages wouldn't helpd naruto and sasuke on their fight, also he created FTG which turnd good afterwards. The great thing about Kakashi is that when you use the word genius, it can mean so many things for him.

Tobirama and Orochimaru are intellectually the greatest geniuses, but Kakashi probably is Top 5 in this category, definitely atleast top 7.

There is no better battle-field strategist than Kakashi, backed by hype and by feats, although Minato is up there as well.

Then in the sense of being a genius of the shinobi arts, like how young Neji and young Sasuke were often referred to as, Kakashi is probably the greatest at that too, seeing as how no single ninja was able to have such a meteoric rise through the ninja ranks.

So overall, Kakashi just may very well be the greatest genius, because he is pretty much the perfect ninja with a knack for tactics and he just also happens to probably literally be a genius intellectually as well.

OT: I think Kakashi is one of the fastest thinkers and best strategists in the heat of battle. It's difficult to say if he's the absolute best though.

I voted Kakashi because that was the only option but it's plain to see that Obito and Naruto are two most unlikely, and yet genius characters there is. Why would Itachi be a genius? Because he killed his family to spare war against a village and knew that Sasuke could do better? Why would that make Itachi a genius, it makes him a burdened character and a bit of a hero, but a savage frankly.

Obito has a lab, manages to do eye surgery, the surgical way, without medical ninjutsu on sasuke, he takes interest in Naruto, because like a scientist/intelligent person, you need to look at other case studies/ examples before reaching a judgement, which is what he did with Naruto. This is why the writer credits the smart character Obito with using skills from Edo Tensei, to pull a "fallen angel" trick and pass his skills on beautifully to Kakashi like a winged messenger would.
Idiots like the greatest buffoon of all: Madara, just assume that they are right and move in for the kill with a Tsukyomi.
But anyway, most people like me tht are loving the story aren't gonna come on this website coz were just busy enjoying the story too much to comment. I couldn't be happier. The storys just mopved from one strength to another for me. I like Sakura, Love Naruto, Kakashi is brilliant and Obito is a bit of a genius. Very happy.
Again I voted Kakashi, but my vote is for Naruto for his superb people skills that go above and beyond, and Obito for his hard and lonely path he managed by himself.
