Like Sovereignty stated, even if Kishi makes Sasuke a true god, beating Naruto and becoming Hokage, I would not lie to myself and still call the overall series inconsistent at best.

Kishi is showcasing that you do not have to tread down the path set for you while also showcasing the opposite that depending on the course of actions you take your path can change whether it be as an individual or your path in life (Destiny)

The events foretold by others and in prophecies was bound to happen but,it was up to those living to see how and who shaped up to be the person that fit the frame.

No, you fail to understand that that's what Neji basically said, you can't change destiny, Naruto would follow this path the day he was born.

Even if your destined to be something you still have to work your way to achieve it. In Naruto we have seen Naruto training countless hours for achieving the skills he has today. It wasn't a easy ride as you guys make it out to be. He had many obstacles that he had to climb to reach where he is today. Sure you can be destined to be something but if you don't work your way for it, you won't get anywhere. Destiny can be changed in seconds or even minutes. It doesn't mean that you will become what you are destined to become by being lazy.

Neji was saying to Naruto that it was impossible that he could become Hokage,that talent is decided at birth,you can't succeed through hard work alone,Naruto was born a failure,and a failure cannot beat a genuis.

All Naruto said was to stop automatically deciding things,you can change your fate ( that was in response to neji repeteadly insulting him and talking as if he was right about everything),and he would win.Naruto's piont to Neji was that you can change things,a "loser" can beat a genuis,a "failure" won't always be a "failure".

Naruto used himself as an example by mentioning how he failed the academy 3 times on the same technique which was his weakness - the clone jutsu and and then he passed and now his signature technique is the Shadow clone technique.

He proved Neji wrong then Neji learned from that and changed.

Do not bash Masashi because of your shitty Reading Comprehension skills.

I agree right now. Naruto would have achieved all of this without hard work, I mean all he had to dowas become friends with the Kyuubi and he would have his whole life to do that.

Right now, in the story Naruto's friendship with Kurama has given him all of the power that matters. His Sage Mode and Rasengan aren't crucial to defeating Kaguya and saving the world, in fact i'd say he could do it without all that, just by asking the Kyuubi for assistance.

Almost the whole story after part 1 has gone against hardwork as well. Look at Hinata, she's someone who had all of Naruto's ideals and worked hard to get better, and yet she's still one of the weakest of the Konoha 11. Kiba is the same, he hasn't a chance at becoming Hokage no matter how hard he worked.

Gasp! Does that violate a rule? The fact that you have Sasuke telling you it's impossible should be an indicator that the author is fully aware.

Yeah he had Sasuke say it on the last lage of the chapter.Could it be that he will explain it and "redeem" himself,which is something "Sovereignty" said he couldn't?

Perhaps us readers shouldn't be so quick to complain and wait for an explanation,which seems impossible which Masashi had Sasuke say.

To be fair, after 15 years of writing, it's pretty easy to contradict the story.

Sure, there's going to be inconsistencies here and there... but this is or was one of the biggest themes in the series. Down the drain now.
