After all the talk in Part 1 about making your own destiny and not letting yourself be controlled by fate, it turns out that Naruto himself is someone automatically “destined for greatness”. What a crock of shit to introduce at this point in the series after driving home the importance of deciding your own fate.
Remember when Naruto fought Neji? But yet Jiraiya said Naruto was the Child of Prophecy?

Now onto Part 2 with the Asura and Indra garbage. You could say Naruto himself is controlled by fate.

Can't tell if Naruto is about creating your own fate or being apart of fate.

Kishi likes to contradict. :)

The moral of the story is, you're destined to be shit or great, and you can do nothing to change it.

Kishimoto scrapped his story logic along time ago.

I agree bro.

Man. I could make a 5000 word essay on how Kishimoto failed the series

Was just editing my main post to say something similar to this, but honestly, I can't be bothered writing a book xD

I've seen Obito die in the manga so much now and yet he came back again and stuck his eyes in Kakashi.

Naruto told neji to not decide peoples destined
And after that fight neji wasn't sure if people's destinies are decided or not

I'm not sure if destiny is like a cloud with an inescapable path or if you can change it but by living like you can change it and strive towards a goal......you can became strong

To be fair, after 15 years of writing, it's pretty easy to contradict the story.

Fate / Destiny, same thing right? Naruto yaps at Neji deciding peoples destinies yet the series claims that Naruto is "The Child of Prophecy"

Neji said "You can't change Fate, its your Destiny" or something similar. And he was right.

Well, Kishi only writes Naruto & Sasuke, the rest are just there.

I guess Kishi wrote so much Sasuke he forgot what Naruto was

But he changed his mind after that fight

He realized the truth about his dad even though his dads destiny is to die for the main branch his dad still chose it
