Rukia nods as she sits down onto the rain soaked ground. It had only been raining for a short time but in that short time the dirt had become mud. Crossing her legs and closing her eyes Rukia began to meditate. Her mind became clear, letting her senses take over. After a moment she felt like she had soared to a higher elevation. All around her was black, she saw no light. Before she could figure out what was happening, she began to fall or that's the sensation she felt. Far below she could barely make out a figure. What she could make out was that rain drops were falling just below her. She kept falling and falling. Each passing second she got closer to the figure. Slowly she made out the features of the object. It had jet back hair and wore robes of black. She landed on the persons head with a plop. As she landed her vision seemed to zoom out until it revealed that she had fallen, as a raindrop, onto her own head. Rukia then snapped back into her own body. Without opening her eyes she uttered one word.
Wow.

Combinations-strategies Here you will write down, ways you would use the technique itself in battle, with combinations or strategies.
Ways to counter this technique And here you will write down ways to counter the technique. So how you can counter/defend against it if it were coming at you.
(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: By focusing chakra into the user's hand they are able to gather rain drops towards their palms, the rain is molded together by chakra and forged into a high pressured orb. Once done the orb will shoot away from the users hand and the user will be knocked back. If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced.
Rukia begins to write on the scroll with the special ink.
Strong points
- Can perform relatively quick.
- No hand seals
Weak points
- It only reaches short range.
- Low rank combined with the low range make it unsuitable for most battle situations.
Combinations-strategies Hmm since this is a bullet the best thing to combo with this is to perform a jutsu that comes from above or below so that the bullet has a greater change of landing.
Ways to counter this technique Earth armor, Hardening tech, Mokuton no jutsu, Doton no Jutsu. Those techs are best used if you just want to defend but if you want to defend and attack a wind bullet or mud shot would be best.
Listening intently to her instructions, Rukia could hardly contain her excitement. She had been waiting for a year and five months to learn how to utilize rain. Nodding furiously Rukia turns to the tree he had pointed out to her. Raising her hand she channeled chakra into her palm. Using the chakra she causes raindrops to be drawn towards the center of her palm. She keeps adding more and more raindrops. As the drops are collected they are compressed together. Soon a unstabilized orb is formed. Its not perfectly formed just yet. Concentrating Rukia uses more chakra to stabilize the orb. The orb, with the chakra, finally stabilizes and becomes a perfect sphere. Using her chakra Rukia causes the rain bullet to explode forward towards the tree. The force of the bullet pushes Rukia back slightly. Hitting the tree the bullet takes out a hand sized chunk of the tree.
How was that? She asks.
(Secchakuzai no Kouu) - Rain of Glue
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: When user makes it rain and then changes the compounds of the water(materials in the air). Then makes the rain sticky which binds the opponent in place for 2 turns.this jutsu lasts for 2 turns.
Strong points
- Very good tech to use to root your opponent or slow them down
- Good tech to use to zone you're opponent. Cover the field where you don't want them to go, so they have no choice but to go where you want then to.
- Would be hard to counter before the rain started to become glue, as the opponent wouldn't know about it without meta gaming. The opponent would most likely get some glue on them or there feet.
Weak points
- Could be caught in the glue if not careful with that wording.
- Since this tech isn't offensive the opponent could attack then deal with the rain glue second thus stopping any combo.
Combinations-strategies
First perform this then follow up with stone spikes for a nice C rank combo. Another combo would be to use rain glue and then sticky earth drop for a double sticky situation.
Ways to counter this technique
Using the doton no jutsu one could cause a slab to raise up to cover the user an protect them from the rain. If using a yuki bio the defender could just freeze the rain by using hyouton no jutsu, taking away the sticky properties. One could also use the umbrella tech.
With the rain falling Rukia channels chakra in the rain drops around her teacher. Using that chakra Rukia starts to change the composition of the rain drops. By using shape manipulation she is able to change the raindrops. The raindrops start to change at a molecular level. The composition changes from that of water to that of a gluey substance with a high viscosity. As the raindrops hit a surface instead of exploding into tiny droplets it spreads out covering a tiny surface. With each new raindrop the surface of the ground is covered more and more by the glue like rain. Soon all around you is covered except for a half meter area around you. If you were to move and step on the glue it would immediately stick to your foot pulling it down, making it hard to move.
(Touei Ame Bushin) - Reflection Rain Clone
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique creates a reflection of the user, this clone is unable to touch physical objects or cause harm. Every move that the user makes the clone mimics at the same time. The reflection clone is destroyed after one hit, this is a tactical technique.
Strong points
- Good tech to use as a distraction. Get the opponent to focus the clone then slip around to the opponents blind spot.
- No hand seals, so it can be formed relatively stealthy.
Weak points
- Can't perform any techs.
- Can't cause harm to anything. Other offensive clones may be better to use in most situations.
- Can only take one hit before it disperses. So even a freeform Tai attack could destroy it making shadow clones a better choice.
Combinations-strategies
Hmm this clone would be best to use to hide your real self. Since it mimics your movements you could have it perform handseals and the opponent would think that its the one attacking. This could also combo well with the hiding in rain tech.
Ways to counter this technique
Well if I know that there are two people id use a just like stone spikes that can attack multiple targets. Since three clone can't use techs the opponent would most likely sacrifice it.
Question: Since it says it a reflection does the falling rain cause it to look weird or anything?
Hearing the instructions she nods once more. Once again Rukia channels her chakra into the raindrops. Using the chakra she causes the raindrops to begin reflecting. The reflection starts off blurry and shapeless. After concentrating harder the reflection soon takes on a human shape. After a few more seconds features can be made out. The hair, nose, eyes and the robes become apparent. Still a little blurry Rukia concentrates to stabilize the image. Once stabilized the image looks exactly like her. Staring at the image Rukia touched her chin. In reaction the clone also touches its chin.
Fascinating.
(Amegakure No Jutsu) - Hidden Rain Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A jutsu that can only be used in rain to conceal oneself, this jutsu is considered a dynamic form of henge. After performing a row of hand-seals, the user seems to disappear. In truth, they have merely assumed a form that mimics rain. Fast movements and physical contact with others may reveal the user
Strong points
- It completely hides the user, perfect to use for a sneak attack.
- Since it is a form of henge it lasts until canceled.
Weak points
- Can't move very fast or it'll cancel the tech.
- Once a tech is performed it also breaks the tech.
- The number of handseals makes it easy for them analyze what's going. So using this when the opponent has eyes on you is ill advised.
Combinations-strategies
Using this with a clone would combine for a good sneak attack. The clone draws the opponents attention, while the user sneak around to the opponents blind spot.
Ways to counter this technique
Well if I see the opponent go invisible I could use a wide reaching jutsu like swamp to turn most of the ground into swamp so they are unable to move. If I didn't see them then Id have to wait until they use a tech because any other way would be Metagaming.
The rain had been fallen for sometime now. The feeling of rain on her skin seemed to of disappeared. Rukia first performs a row of hand seals. This time instead of channeling her chakra into the rain she spreads it evenly across her skin. Then she manipulates the chakra so that it changes her appearance. Her appearance looks as if rain is falling in a human shape but to the rain falling around her its looks as if its apart of it. This in essence makes her invisible to the naked eye.
I hope that was right.
Sorry if that's wrong but I didn't understand the tech a hundred percent.
(Hitoshirenu Ame Sai) - Hidden Rain Slash
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user manipulates their chakra to condense a single raindrop into a more solid form. The raindrop becomes as sharp as a blade. The disadvantage to this jutsu is that the raindrop falls in a straight line.
